After a bottle, before? Before or after sleep?

Funny you mention this. I was literally JUST about to start a thread about the same exact thing. I'd love to know answers to this also.

My DS is 9 mths old and is going through a phase like that too but he's teething. Will eat solid meat and fruit but noooooo veggies...tried fresh and mashed, also organic jarred.

I hope someone answers you soon as I am also interested. (sorry, don't want to hijack your thread)

my son used to eat everything and anything until recently. he is currently 10 months old and has started his teething a long while ago, has 8 teeth at the moment. the only way i get him to eat now is if i give him finger food. he does not like being spoon fed. perhaps if you give her soft carrots, cheese cubes etc that she can eat with her hands?

i would just try different foods and and different feeding times.Kids r smart..they will let u know if they do or dont like their food....so just try different foods at different times.
they also go thru growth spurts where they eat more and then just slow down.just listen ,kids will let u know what they want and when they will eat it!
PS-at what age did u introduce baby food?My grandson is almost 5 months and been on cereal for 2 mnths(HUGE child!LOL!)..I cant wait to start feeding him baby food too!!

OK...I read somewhere that kiddies taste buds start properly functioning around that time (8-10 months) so that's when a baby who was a good eater and didn't mind what they ate suddenly starts having preferences for certain tastes. I think the ability to recognize sweetness begins much earlier, but this is for every other part of the tongue.

At this age they start rejecting bland foods and try for stuff with more flavor. I started adding a teeny bit of spices, salt etc to add to the taste and that solved the problem.
