I don't agree about pampers. My DD is ALLERGIC to them!

I do love Pampers but I have to choose Swaddlers over Baby Dry. Baby Dry SUCKED when it came to poos. I can't tell you how many leaks and blowouts I had with those. I had minimal issues with the Swaddlers. It was worth the extra cost to me. I was worried that the mesh lining might stick to and irritate baby's skin but so far I've had zero problems with that.

DIVA - Thanks soooooo much for posting all these reviews! At your suggestion I purchased a pack of Huggies Overnites for DD. We went on a road trip to Mammoth over the weekend, and I figured it would be a good idea to put her in the overnites. They worked like a charm! When we got there (6 hours later due to gas fill-ups and buying food etc), her diaper wasn't puffy at all... In fact, when I felt it, it still felt kind of dry!!! AMAZING! I never would have thought to get the Huggies if it weren't for you, as I'm not really partial to the brand... Thanks!!! And a million
from me to you!

You're very welcome, I'm glad they worked for you. You know Huggies doesn't get good reviews for the smaller sizes but I hear that for the overnights and for Pulls Ups they are the best so I guess this reveiw was dead on. I'm glad they worked for you.

My review of White Cloud-
No issues with leakage, rash or reactions, however I find Parent's Choice to be a little bit softer and a package is a dollar cheaper so far in the bargain diaper category Parent's Choice is in the lead, will try Luvs in a week or so. Prices at my local Walmart Parent's Choice - $5.74 for 48 diapers White Cloud - $6.97 for 48 diapers Luv's - $7.97 for 48 diapers |

I think the brand of diapers that works the best really depends on the child. One of the best shower gifts we got was a bundle of different types of diapers to try. For us, it turned out to be Huggies- everything else leaked horribly. I think it's important to try a few brands and see what works best for your child.

Huggies Overnites are a godsend!! Can't live without them. Has anyone else ordered from Diapers.com? It's so convenient -- and fast -- but I wish they had more variety.

Diapers cost so much these days. To me it seem like the on-line retailors have the best prices, in particular this site called http://www.ionmeds.com/ has great prices

Pampers were great when my girls were really small
Huggies always leaked for us! Luvs were better when they were crawling and moving around because they did not leak at all Good Nites we liked at night when potty training..Still had problems with the pull ups leaking |

We are currently in Huggies because I can easily buy them in bulk at Costco. We were in Pampers cruisers for the longest time because they never leaked and were so soft even in comparison to Huggies. Eventually I just got sick of paying so much money for pampers and the strong chemical smell Pampers has.

I loved Pampers Sensitive for newborns as a FTM!! the little blue line is awesome....although now I think it's a bit silly because they are more expensive..;P
I tried Huggies newborn also but didn't like the way it fits my LO. Now I'm using Pampers Swaddlers and love it! so far I've only had one poop blowout. I don't like the Baby Dry as much because I think they are not as absorbent as the Swaddlers. I've been fine with using Pampers...but I have always been itching to try other brands!!! I would love to see other reviews about Target brand/Mom to mom/and whatever else you can get at Target/BRU...I'm too scared to spend money on trying a brand that I might end up hating!! |
