Default Diaper Bag?
Just so that I stop buying diaper bags, I am curious. How long did you/are you carrying yours?

I have a 9 month old and it seems I need a huge bag for food, bottles, formula, toys change of clothes! When he was younger, he didn't need food or toys. I know soon I will lose the bottles and formula.

Thoughts!?

I'm one of those people that like to be prepared, I never liked going out without snacks, drinks, antibacterial wipes, regular wipes, etc. I carried a diaper bag until my son was 3. I then minimized what I needed and stared to store some stuff in the car. Duration depends a lot on personality.

Thanks!! I like to be prepared to but lately find myself keeping my big bag in the car and then carrying just the necessities. Problem is then I run to the car and end up with 2-3 unorganized bags!!

Maybe you just need a different bag then. Something that is light and that you can keep some of everything in. I hate taking something out of my bag only to need it the next day. I also hate some of the options when we are out. It's easy to just buy a drink or snack but most of the stuff you can get is junk. My son is 5 and I have only begun to give him soda once a week as a treat.

^ I think you are right... I was hoping to get out of the diaper bag arena but I probably should still be there. My lil' man is still small!

The Storksak has worked really well for me. Plenty of room and great organization pockets!
