Question Convertible Car Seat Question
I'm using Graco Snugride 32 for my 7 months old daughter, but she can't stretch out her legs anymore in it. So I'm considering buying a convertible car seat and wondered about a few things.

We have 3 cars and use 2 cars to driver her around, so we have 2 car seat bases, which works great. Now I don't see any convertible car seat base on sale..........so does this mean I have to buy 2 convertible car seats if I want to use 2 cars? That seems rather expensive (like $600? for Britax Marathon).

How are you guys dealing with this issue? I can try to use only 1 car, but it'll be very inconvenient.

we've always just used one car while the kids need to be in car seats.
DH drives his to work, if we go somewhere as a family, as we often do, it's in my SUV.

Yup, we drive two cars, have two kids, and have purchased 4 convertible car seats. Expensive? Yes! But it's worth it to have the safety and convenience.

We also had two convertible car seats. One for our car and one for my sister's car. It just got to be such a hassle taking out and putting a car seat in every time we wanted to go somewhere! I got lucky though, the convertible car seat I liked was brand new on Ebay for much less!

Hmmm.....thats too bad. Oh well, we probably have to buy 2 car seats then.
So Britax is the way to go for convertible car seats? It seems like they have the best rating.....should I buy 2 same car seats or get different types if we are buying 2?

I will be buying another 2 soon which will equal to 4 for two cars when I return to work. My 3 yrs old will be using the brand new ones- a 2 in 1 convertible forward facing only so it is at a cheaper price starting from $100 each. 2nd DS will be using the two existing one which is a 3 in 1 - can be rear or forward facing (these are usually more expensive - but scout out for sales) I was able to get mine for $129 each but three years ago. We have no other choice as DH will be dropping them off at daycare while I pick them up after work which means different schedules but I consider it as worthwhile purchases for the sake of convenience!!!
