Hi, has anyone here used these feeding bottles? If you did, are these good?

Thanks!

I got them for DD, but haven't use them yet since I am still exclusively BFing. I hope they are good or that DD will take them because they are not cheap.

I'm currently using them with my 9 month old son. No complaints here. They are definitely not cheap. I bought mine for $16.99 a bottle and I bought 5 of them!

I only have two and DS seems to like them okay. He's already on the level 3 nipple. I find the shape of the bottle comfy for me to hold. I have other BPA free bottles that I bought from babies r us that were their brand (especially for baby), and they're so inexpensive and work great!

My friends have been using them and I will be using them as soon as the new baby is born. My friends love them b/c they are easier to clean and the babies are absolutely fine with them.

I have been using BornFree exclusively since my DD was born and they have always worked great for me. I have also started using their sippycups.

I use Born free..I like them okay, however they will leak if you overtighten the top, it usually takes me a few tries to make sure the nipple plastic does not move over to the side. It's hard to explain.

I use them. I used the Adiri natural nurser bottles in the beginning when I was trying to bf. I've ended up pumping and switched to the Born Free bottles. They work fine. I got them because they are BPA free and seemed easier to clean than the Dr. Brown's with the long tube thingie. If that's what you're after, there are a number of new choices now, like Green to Grow and ThinkBaby.

I rarely have leaking issues unless I forget to put the bottle together right. There are two vent pieces that go inside the bottle, sort of between the bottle and the nipple. I've been known in times of extreme exhaustion to forget one or both of these, in which case I wondered why the baby was getting milk everywhere.

They have a longer nipple, so if you are BFing, they may not be the best choice. According to my lactation consultant, they're also a fairly fast flow. We didn't find them such, and had to move up to level 2 (the 3+ month level) at 6-8 weeks because it was taking well over a half hour to finish a 5-6 ounce bottle.

They don't seem to reduce spitting up at all, which is what I was hoping. My DS still has to be held upright for quite a while after feeding, and my friends who use them also have continuing spitup issues. HTH!

born free products are free of BPA, phthalates and PVC, the bad plastics that can put toxins in what you eat. I haven't used bottles in over a year but other brands like avent and dr. brown were not (have they changed yet?). this article can explain it better http://health.usnews.com/articles/he...ses-alarm.html

i heard babies r us is going to stop selling any products that aren't bpa, pvc free by next year.

http://www.newbornfree.com/ Their training cup (sippy) was the only sippy my daughter could do at 9 months. we had to switch because she had middle ear fluid.
