Default Autism and Fragile X

I am starting a different thread because this topic is different and I think it needs it's own thread. Do you all know that Fragile X is most commonly misdiagnosed as autism? I wonder how many kids who are diagnosed with autism are currently tested for Fragile X.
Fragile X is sex linked and is passed down. Here is more info:

what do you think?

The president of our Special Education PTO has a son with Fragile X. We always talk about how similar it is to Autism.
