I worked till I was 39 weeks and 2 days later DD came on her own...I thought I could get 1 week to wind down and get everything ready but she was in a rush to meet the world.

im plannin to work till week 38 then take off.. if i can continue i will but ill try to rest if i can before lets see or ill work half days or something

LOL! I had to call in the day I gave birth because I was scheduled to work. I went to the hospital at 8 am :)

I went on leave at 36w4d (used vacation days to start earlier) and was glad I did because DS arrived 4 days later!

I wanted to work until my 38th week but I stopped at 36 weeks b/c of vacation time that I had left over. Luckily I decided to do that b/c my son came 6 days later! Imagine going into labour in a fast food restaurant?! Considering that all of my 3 kids came in 2 1/2 hours and less.
