Default Are you always hot?

I just started my 13th week on Wed and for the last few days I just feel so warm. Jumping in the pool helps and having the ac on LOW does too, but it's like a constant hot flash. Anyone else feels this way? If so, any recommendations on cooling down?? Thanks girls :)

I used the AC a lot. It drove DH crazy because he doesn't like the AC but I was so hot all of the time. He was always under 2 down comforters and I was with no blankets or clothing and the AC on 68 ! Also I hardly felt like I needed a coat in the winter, I would just always wear my sweater or hoodie and if I had a tshirt it wouldn't bother me in the winter and we live in New England !

I have been feeling very hot. I am 27 weeks now, and it's definitely harder being pregnant in the summer than in the winter! With my first, the third trimester was all in December/January/February which wasn't bad. I just didn't need to wear a heavy coat. When not pregnant, I usually tend to be a cold-natured person, and living in a warm climate at summertime I'm usually freezing because of the air conditioning. But not this summer - I keep asking if the air conditioning is really on. It's a combination of hormones and some extra padding - carrying around a little space heater with you all the time!

YES. God yes. lol 9 months pregnant now, the temp outside is always 90 degrees+ I sweat just walking from the parking lot to work. People keep having 4th of July parties outside, engagement parties outside. I've finally decided that for the next 4 weeks i'm being selfish and if I'm invited to an outdoor event the answer is no. I end up sweating and swelling and feeling sick. Basically the only way I stay cool and content is by being indoors.

Gosh yes! With my second pregnancy we were in Greece for four months and in JULY it was over 107 degrees for more days then I care to remember!!!! I felt sick going out to do anything! Inside with the air on full blast was the only way I would feel any relief!

OMG yes, there has been a crazy heatwave here for the last week, and everyday has been 95-105 and im 8 months along and dying here!! Even with the a/c on in the house, I am still suffering in this heat so I made my husband buy me a portable a/c for our bedroom and that has helped sooo much! It really cools down the room fast so that I can be comfortable and sleep SOO better. I highly recommend this to my any pregnant woman!!

I usually get cold, but while I was pregnant I was the opposite, I would get hot easily and would always want the AC and fan on even though my husband was freezing his a** off!

I was ALWAYS hot!!! IDK if you have the option, but I spent a lot of time in the house naked! But with the second one that was not an option! Then I just always wore dresses, and went to the mall a lot!!!

ALWAYS hot. The first nice hot weekend that we had here, I ended up getting heat stroke! And I wasn't even outside for very long!

I'm now entering my 3rd trimester and I am not looking forward to the rest of July/Aug/Sept. As much as I would like to enjoy the sunshine, I cringe thinking about going outside!

I am still running hot and my baby is 12 months old! When I was pregnant I used to joke that I wanted to go sleep on the lawn with the sprinklers on. And just hose me down like a beached whale! My poor husband had to bundle up because I had the a/c at 68 degrees, and we got a few $500 electric bills because of it. My husband used to look at me like I was crazy every time we got in the car and I would lift up my skirt to get my tummy all cold from the a/c. I think at the end what turned out to be worse than being hot all the time was the itchiness.
