I was always overheated while I was pg, and then it took a few months after I had the baby for the hot flashes to go away. The dr. always assumed I had an infection because my temperature would actually go way down and then shoot up to fever level after the baby was born. But I never had any infections, and the off and on fever would last about 3-4 months after delivery.

When I was pregnant last summer I thought I was going to die because I was so warm. To cool down I would wear underpants and a sports bra and turn a standing fan on high and just lay in front of it, it helped.
