She turns to him and say "hey buddy what do you think of this" He looks at her and says "ummmm well ummmm you look bad and your a pretty girl but that one makes you look ugly" She laughed so hard I was embarassed he said it but she said nope that is so good he is honest.
Your DS just totally made me LOL... and I'm at work! haha!! I'm having a DS, and already have a DD, who will be 16 months when I deliver... so I'll be one busy bee!

I really need to get started on DD's little handbag collection! She has just discovered the joy of carrying a purse. She loves carrying all my bags, and my sisters' bags. They're still pretty big for her, and obviously very heavy with all our stuff, so we empty them and she walks around the house wearing whatever handbag strikes her fancy. She'll walk past us and wave so that she can get our attention. It's the cutest thing! She's such a ham already, but a very fashionable ham. My dad (who is the one that got us all started on designer everything) wants to buy her an LV mini HL! This kid is one spoiled girl.

As soon as DH starts working again I really want to buy DD that little Chanel handbag that Charlottes DD had on SATC. The one that was sitting on the table when the ladies were talking about "coloring"... Do you know the one I'm talking about? I think it's just adorable!

Oh how cute...the chanel bag! The Gucci DH bought our DD is the mini boston style bag with the coated canvas (which is perfect for dirty kids hands lol) It's so small it's perfect for a little girl.

I can just picture your DD walking around with your purses. How cute!!!

How awesome that your DH bought your DD the mini Gucci! I LOVE that bag! One of my sisters was considering getting it for DD, for the reason you mention... the coated canvas is perfect for a messy LO! My DH is dreading the moment our DD really gets an understanding of designer items. He's already sweating the fact, because my sisters (and me, obviously) spend sooooooo much time with DD. Our expensive influences scare the cr@p out of him! haha... He should just count his lucky stars that he's only got the one DD, whereas my dad had 3! As if having a daughter isn't expensive enough... he had the three of us with our expensive tastes (thanks to him) and my mom! He's just 4x lucky! That's what we always tell him!

Ha ha ha too cute! Yes he is lucky that it is not another DD. My DH is dreading it a bit too because yes he likes his high end items too but not as much as I do and he knows how much damage I can do with a DD. Poor guys lol

I thought it was cute that a friend of mine first pregnancy thinks that she is about to go at 50% 1 maybe 2 cm dilated lol...I don't have the heart to tell her that most 1st timers sit like that for a bit.

Sounds like you both will definitely have little shoppers yourselves! It's so much fun to shop with DD's!! Too cute!

When is your friend due ive_flipped? I guess her doctor didn't tell her that she could be that way for weeks huh? That's exactly where I'm at right now and I don't expect anything to happen.

Are you ladies planning on nursing your LO's?

Yup! I'm def. planning to nurse DS. I nursed DD for almost 10 months, and then all of a sudden she just didn't want anything to do with the breast milk? I think it was right around when I got pregnant, so the hormonal change probably changed the taste of the milk (?) or something.

Anyway... I intend to return to work sometime (at least on a part-time basis) so my plan is to throw a formula feeding in the mix somewhere, maybe every third feeding or so. I'm hoping that by the time I return to work, the formula will hold him over until I get out and can give him the breast milk. What about you spartan?

I am nursing DD for sure as well. I am off about 8 full months with her and a bit...then I am going to pump for her to have breast milk at daycare because I want her to have more protection there. I hope to pump for as long as I can.

I'm planning on nursing too. My first DD never latched on, so I pumped exclusively for 4 months. That was really hard and all I could take. My second DD latched on right away and I nursed her for a year. I'm hoping to do the same with DS, if all goes well. I lucked out and never had Thrush or anything else, so I'm hoping it will be the same this time around *Knocks on wood*

DS hadn't made any escape moves either. I'm hoping he'll stay put until after Easter. We have so much going on next weekend, with a black tie dinner and then Easter. I hope he stays until Tues. when I'll be induced.

Not much going on here... Just busy nesting. DS has dropped a bit, so I'm hoping he isn't trying to make an early break for it. Scheduled to evict him next Friday, and told my employer I would stay on through next Wednesday. I'm also hoping not to be in the hospital before Wednesday (which is my birthday)! So... fingers crossed there aren't any surprises beforehand. My appointment is tomorrow afternoon, around 1pm I think.
