I'm doing well! As well as can be, anyway. I'm super anxious... just waiting for 4/16 to get here already. Last night my pelvis was so sore I couldn't even really turn in bed that well. Don't really know what that was about. It just kind of came on suddenly, and was gone when I woke up. I've got my next appointment on Tues. I wonder if my OB will still be checking to see if I'm dilating, considering I'm having a c/s? Guess I'll find out in a few days.

I'm sooooo excited for us! Just a few/couple more weeks to go for us! Good luck ladies!

I am so excited and so nervous at the same time. It has been a LOOOOONG time since I had my son and he was such a good baby. I hope it's like him, easy birth and easy baby.

I hope your LO comes soon too! How old is your son? How exciting for you to be having a baby girl. They are so much fun. I'm the opposite, have 2 girls, ages 6 and 3, and am having my little boy this time. DH and I are super excited to see what a little boy brings to our family.

Looks like all 3 of us have our dr. appts. right in a row...Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday! Here's hoping for some cervical changes!!

LOL I am not sure my ob will even check. I haven't been checked at all. Just the swab which didn't look at anything ha ha ha.

I am going to say it again lol I just want an april baby

Really, your OB hasn't checked you to see if you are dialating? Maybe they will this week. I had the Group B swab done last week, along with an internal exam. I was 1 cm and 50% effaced so I'm interested to see if anything changes at my appt. tomorrow. I'm hoping so!

I forgot to say Spartan my son is 10 he will be 11 in the summer.

No I my OB was away the day I had the swab. I had this lady OB and she just didn't want to bother with anything. She was not like him. I am sure this week I will get checked because he knows my history of not feeling labor pains lol

I like how the lady OB didn't want to bother checking you. Hmmm...isn't that part of her job? At least you'll get to see your doc. this week! I'm off to my appt. here in a bit and will let you know how it went.

I also had my group B swab done last week. No vag exam, but maybe tomorrow? We'll see. My appointment is at the end of the day (I have work, and silly me, I agreed to stay on until I go out for my c/s!)

. I had a couple of sharp pains yesterday/last night, that were a little bit stronger than the regular ol' BH I've been having. I'll mention that to OB tomorrow.

What's going on with all the other April Mommies? Is it just we three? I know holly di already popped (

)...

I think the other April mommies are now March mommies...I think it may just be the three of us...or the other ones out there haven't said hello in a loooooooong time.

Hey girls! Just got back home from my day today and my appt. went well this morning. I just saw the PA, not my OB. She did an exam and I'm 1-2 cm and still 50% effaced. I saw a note in my chart that said "induce at 39 weeks" so I asked the PA about if she could give me any kind of idea what day that might be. She didn't know, so I guess I'll have to wait until next week when I see my OB. Hopefully next Wed. I'll know the day I'll get induced, if it doesn't happen naturally before then. I was just curious if it would happen closer to the 39 week mark or 40 weeks. Hopefully it will be closer to 39!!

Okay, now I'll wait to see how you ladies do at the doctor this week! Can't wait to get the updates!

Nothing much to report. No vag exam... I guess my OB wont be doing one since I'm having a c/s. I gained 2 pounds from my appointment last week

! Also, my c/s got moved to the 17th. A day later than I originally thought. The OR's were all booked on the 16th, so I have to wait one more day. So I have just a little over 2 weeks to go...

Not too long ago, I had to switch my medical insurance carrier b/c DH was laid off (switched to my insurance). The referral dept. of my Primary MD was supposed to send me an updated referral with my new insurance (Pacificare). I had to call them 3 times to get them to finally mail one out, and even then I still asked them to fax it to me. I didn't check it thoroughly enough, and came to find out before my appt last week the letter and fax they sent me still showed my old insurance (Cigna)! I called the referral dept. again, and they said I could expect the updated letter to arrive Monday (yesterday). It did not.

The RN at my OB's office asked me if I had straightened everything out, and I said that yes, it's all fixed on their end, but they're really bad at sending the letter out! I told her that I was supposed to have received it yesterday and that it still hasn't shown up! She told me that from her exp. she has found that most people in the referral dept at my Primary MD seem to be really lazy, and that I should just go over there and pick up the letter myself. Otherwise, I might check into the hospital with no updated referral letter to my OB, and the hospital will have no insurance company to send the bill to, which will leave me to cover the whole darn thing!

Needless to say, I will be paying a visit to my regular MD tomorrow. It's just weird, because the rest of the staff at my Dr. is awesome... all they have to do in the referral dept. is print out the letter and stuff it in the mailbox. WTH?

Glad things are good with you and baby

I have my appt at 9:30am. I wonder if he will check or not??? All's I know is that in two hours I will officially have an April baby

I will be able to use my baby's birthstone well (diamonds) I know I know so silly.

There's nothing silly about that!

My birthday is in April, and my DH always teases that he must have done something (really good or really bad?) in a previous life to deserve me... I have expensive taste

! haha... poor guy! He's just lucky that we're having a DS in April... and not another DD! I look forward to hearing how your appointment goes tomorrow! Update us as soon as you can!
