holly di congrats on your little miracle baby! You are in my prayers, as are all the other expectant tPF mommies!

Well... I'm torn between wanting DS out now (!) and keeping him in forever! But that's me... a walking contradiction.

He is kicking my butt, literally! I don't know what it is, but some part of his body (heel of his foot, perhaps a fist) keeps jabbing me in the same spot on the right side of my belly, just underneath my rib cage. He does it so often I have to use my hand to push him back a little bit so I can get comfy. Also, my hips are starting to spread more and more, and boy does it hurt!!! I don't know how much more of the physical "torture" I can take!

However, I'd like to keep him in as well... I'm scared to death of what having two LO's 16 months from each other will bring! I'm fully expecting the worst but hoping for the best... At least that way, if I end up completely bald from pulling my hair out I won't be too surprised!

I've also been having a few BH contractions here and there... very sporadically, and very light.

^^I know what you mean about the kicking your butt thing. My lil girl hits really really hard. I too have to push her foot back a bit.

I really want to be pregnant longer I love it. I have had it so easy but I also want to have her here and cuddle her. That part scares me too though lol the crying, worrying etc. I am also a walking contradiction LOL

^^haha... If only we could have it both ways! The best of both worlds. Unfortuanely we can't have our cake, and eat it too. Oh well... I am excited, though, to finally hold him! I can't believe how fast 40 weeks just flew by! Only a few short weeks for us April Mommies! Can't wait to read the delivery stories, and see the pictures we'll be posting of our newborn LO's!!

I think ladies that miss thing has dropped down and is deep down there. I have the classic period like feeling that happens especially with second pregnancies. It could be soon or could be a few more weeks. I just hope she stays in until 38 +2 (April lol)

How is everyone else??

I hope she stays in for you too! I'm at almost 37 weeks now and had an appt. on Tuesday. I'm 1 cm and 50% effaced, but that really doesn't mean anything. I never dialated early with my other two, but I'm not holding my breath either. My doctor told me that she will induce me between 39-40 weeks if he hasn't come by then. I have big babies so she doesn't want me to go past 40 weeks.

I'm desperately trying to get over this sickness that I've had for a week now. It knocked me on my ass and everyday I just get a little bit better. I'm really thankful I don't have a newborn to care for just yet. My whole family is sick so hopefully we will get this out of the way before he arrives.

I hope all you other April mommies to be are doing well!!

Had my 36 wk checkup on Tues. I'm going in every week now. The countdown is on! I've been having serious BH contractions today. Hoping that's all they are, as I haven't really gotten things ready for DS. Still need to launder his clothes and get the cradle ready in our room. It's assembled, but I haven't washed the beddings, and right now all of mine and DH's clean laundry are sitting in it waiting to be put away! On top of the BH contractions, the horrible cold I had two weeks ago has returned! Ugh. I'm so miserable. Can't breath, and my sinuses are killing me. Strange as I never had sinus problems outside of this pregnancy. Now it seems like I've got them every 2 weeks or so. Oh well, just a few more weeks to go! Can't wait!

Hoping DS isn't trying to make an early break for it... just to give me time to finish final preparations for his arrival. That, and my scheduled c/s is the day after my birthday! haha...

I've been having lots of BH's too this week. I still think he's going to wait it out another couple of weeks though. That's fine b/c it will give my family and I chance to get over this horrible virus we all have.

Cecille and Spartan- I hope you both feel better soon. I just got over the runny nose, eyes and cough thing. It was terrible.

Thanks! I'm slowly getting over it each day, but it's definitely not a quick recovery.

spartancoaster and ive_flipped I'm jealous. You're both getting over the colds you had! Mine comes and goes every other week! Just when I think I'm over it, the next day I'm congested and my sinuses are killing me all over again! haha... Oh well, just another side effect of pregnancy! I think I've had sinus congestion off and on since the 2nd semester! I'm not complaining though... as long as DS is healthy it's all worth it for me!

Even with all the BH I've been experiencing lately, I'm sure I'll make it to my scheduled c/s. Although, DH is hoping I pop sooner than that! We'll see... I'll keep you all updated!

Good luck to all the tPF HOTT MAMAS!!!

I'm doing good...not too terribly uncomfortable. Just still trying to kick this virus I have. DH spent the day painting the baby's nursery and it looks so good. I have my next dr's appt. on Monday and I'm hoping that I've diated a bit more.

How about you? The countdown is so on!!! I'm so excited!!

I have my appt Wednesday so I will be 38 +1 and I am hoping LO will come any time after that I am so excited and so nervous at the same time. It has been a LOOOOONG time since I had my son and he was such a good baby. I hope it's like him, easy birth and easy baby.
