I am looking for an MDF-free crib with a non-toxic stain (I know, I sound like the woman with the crazy drink order at Starbucks). A good friend recommended the Italian brand PALI. I am also interested in a brand called BABY'S DREAM FURNITURE. I was wondering if any of you ladies have had experience with either brand...? Please share your recommendations/gripes/etc. Thanks in advance!

I heard the LUNA ones are solid wood and non-toxic stain. They also have the convertible ones and nice colors. I do not know anyone with those others so I am no help :)

I hadn't heard of LUNA before. I just looked at their website and I LOVED the "Bolero" crib!
Thank you sooo much for your suggestion! |

That is my favorite one as well. It converts so it can be used for a toddler or teen. I am Canadian and they have it on airmiles as a reward. I am going to use my points for that.

Bonavita made in Italy is non toxin. I just ordered the Bonavita(spelling?) cabana set for my upcoming baby. Baby's Dream has nice sets but some of their display sets were made in China from what I saw and was told during shopping.

I have a Pali crib for my DS and it's soo sturdy and transitional too. I'm watching him sleep on the monitor right now and he looks so comfy, I want to jump in!
I would recommend Pali...so far no prob's and it gets an A++ so far. I also have a matching armoire. |
