So awesome to find other cloth diaper mamas that are into purses :3

Greenmountaindiapers.com is a great resource for those new to cloth diapering.

We've been using the pre-folds from there along with thirsties duo diaper covers and two indie brands you can get off of hyenacart.com: rock a bye booty and Moms in the House. I like the covers with the exposed PUL (plasticy stuff). :)

Yes, diaperswappers is a great forum -- I did a lot of searches there for info on wash routines, which brands to buy, etc. Very good resource.

We cloth diapered our babies and were able to find a small store here in Germany that sold cloth diapers. The lady made them herself, so it was nice to know you were getting something hand made

I'm glad theres a thread on CD!!! Best to buy several from different brands to try out first before committing to a brand :) I like one sized pockets!

^^ There are lots of handmade ones on Etsy, too! I am tempted by all the cute styles, but a little wary of trying them when I can't read reviews.

My son was born four days ago and we are using cloth diapers. We purchased bum genius elementals and so far so good. I couldn't wait to see my lo in his cloth diapers, he looks so cute. The nurses at the hospital were so amazed by the cloth diapers, lol.

We used the BumGenius newborn all-in-one ("AIO") and I liked them OK, but didn't love them. We had some leaks, but my kid is really skinny. I plan to try the Lil Joeys (which are made by Rump-a-rooz) for kid #2. The store Jillian's Drawers sometimes has very lightly used diapers that are a good deal, since you will probably use the newborn size diapers for 2 months at the very most.

Almost there!!!
We used bumgenius xs, grovia, blueberrys, lil Joey's, and happy heinys for newborn stage.

We loved the lil Joey's the most. We are going to order rumparooz for her big girl diaps. The Happy heinys worked really well too, just Not as cute/the material feels cheap. I also loved the swaddlebees (blueberrys) so I might get some of those.

The grovias, while adorable, leaked like you wouldn't believe. Kind of useless. And the bumgenius worked well but didn't fit long at all. My baby was scrawny and we still only got a few weeks use out of them. I'm Sure the larger sizes will work nicely though.
