my 1st had to be induced a week and half early b/c my placenta stopped working (the amnio fluid dropped below normal)... he definitely was not ready to come out, it took a day and half before he would. i call him my troublemaker b/c he still is outside of the womb.
my other 2 came on time, normal delivery at lightning speed. my ob/gyn didn't even have time to put on her scrubs with my number 2. best of luck with your upcoming arrival! |

My midwife has told me majority of first births are late ... hmmm i'm nnot convinced as there seems to be alot of ladies here at the PF who have been early. May be i may be lucky and be a couple of days early so i get my Xmas dinner after all .

my 1st baby came almost 2wks early.. emergency C-Section because her heart rate dropped and we found that out when I came in for a scheduled NST at my doctor's office... (my baby was due on Dec 15 but arrived Dec 5!)
now, on my 2nd baby.. my doctor said that they're going to induce me a week early from my EDD (May 15) because I opted to have another C-Section.. I am really excited and a bit nervous altogether.. Good Luck on yours!!! |

My 1st daughter I went into labor at 32 weeks they stopped labor with magnisum sulfate IV. I ended up having her 37 weeks she was 5 pounds 13 oz had to be in NICU for 1 week because she was born with breathing problems.
Daughter number 2 she was born at 35 weeks, 6 pounds 8 oz, she went home with me day after I had her.. |

I was due 9/11 but thankfully they induced on 8/22! I would have hated for such a sad day of national mourning to be her birthday!

my first baby was one week late. but i think he would've been even later (my water never broke, i wasn't dilated, etc. during that late week)-so i went in for induction.

Both my girls were late- first one by 5 days, and the one I just had by 6! Apparently, I have lovely womb accomodations!
