 Yippee! My very first contribution to the Gaufres thread! Presenting my new Prada Dressy Gaufre Frame Bag in Cipria (my one and only gaufre purse - for right now ) in all her glory, and another accompanied by my fave gaufre wallet bought months ago from BF. Thanks to spendalot - her cipria tote was an inspiration for this purchase and to linpaddy whose moral support during the EGC event was priceless! *grabs the trophy* I now accept the award for the longest intro in the thread! hee hee.  OK now for vital info... style # BN1637 (the shorter one) measures approximately 10"Hx12"W. Retails for $1820. |

My First Gaufre!
Here's my first gaufre shopper in NERO (Black).
 Forgive my bad picts. I'm really lousy at photography. I bought her from BlueFly after wrongly buying the big version from Prada. Gosh, I did not think that the lambskin would be so soft. I'm now on the quest for my next gaufre: marose28's gorgeous frame purse!

Meet my new Prada Frame Bag - Picts! Warrning - Long Post!
It's time for another reveal! This one is courtesy of dear marose28
As some of you know, I just bought a black gauffre shopper and I adore her. I have also been lusting after the smaller version of the Prada frame purse in Cipria BUT have not been able to purchase one. I was so disappointed after repeatedly ordering the frame purse in the wrong size in both grey and black. They just look too big on me. I was just about to give up since the frame purses I've seen were either too big or look a little worn. But dear marose28 knew about my obsession and she came across the perfect frame purse for me. It was in the larger size but in cipria! At first, I said, no no, it's too big. But she insisted that I meet the purse in person. She said: "You'll love it, it's gorgeous!!" So we met up for the first time (and on a side note, she's a very lovely lady both in looks and personality). After a nice coffee for me and a hot chocolate for her, she introduced me to the lovely Miss Prada Frame Purse in Cipria.  I was still hesitant. Granted, the purse was very pretty but she's still big IMO. But marose28 insisted that I bring her home for a trial run. So I brought her home and seriously considered her. To my surprise, she is a big gal BUT so sweet in appearance that you immediately forget that she's a big purse! And she's so soft to the touch. Her pink isn't too pale nor too dark. In other words, she's perfect! Her color is almost the exact shade in my picts (without flash). I can't wait to carry her out. Of course, I want to give a big shout out to marose28 for enabling me to obtain one of my grail purses.  So ahem, without further ado, here are the picts! I've included marose's picts for comparision. |

linpaddy, oh I am so jealous you and marose28 met up!
Thats a gorgeous purse. I like that its dressier than the other styles. But I would find the bigger one too big for me. You know what, I spotted a small e/w satchel in Cipria the other day and perhaps it will be in the US stores soon. You could wait for that

Yes, it is BIG on me. But the pink balances out really nicely. I'm thinking of tucking her in on the inside with soft clips if my DH complains about her size. Like a purse tummy tuck! E/W satchel in Cipria? No, No, I'm on a ban.  Unless a Cera gauffre turns up.  I think that a collection of gauffres in black, pink, and cera will keep me happy for a long time.

Linpaddy... my cipria seriously looks washed out in comparison to the one you got! I can't believe we did the 'deed' on a public bench! All we needed was me pulling out the bags from my car trunk and we'd have an instant 'back alley' scenario! hee hee. *gasp* I just noticed... did you already cut the tag off?! I am itching to use mine but until I'm sure Amanda can't find a better one for me, the Saks tag is staying on!
 Spendalot... Lindpaddy is seriously one beautiful girl!  I had expected her to be shorter than me (I had compared my perceived height to hers), but she is definitely the taller of the two of us. Apparently, it was her heels that made the difference. (Linpaddy, please don't mention you were wearing flat sandals!) Linpaddy and I met by her work, which is pretty close to some prime shopping areas. I brought along with me my new purses that I bought off BlueFly, which Lindpaddy wanted to see, and the cipria purse I picked up for her. Linpaddy wanted a mirror to see how the cipria purse looked on her - and where are you going to find a full-length one in a practically public road? People passing by must have thought we were dealing with contraband purses the way we kept looking around to see if anyone was watching!  LOL I'm done with purses for a while. It's been fun going crazy.. but unless I can get the purse at a steep discount (BlueFly with add'l 10% off counts!) then I'm going to pass. Although, the e/w in cipria gaufre sounds beautiful already!
