I think it is coming in a distressed brown...but she was not sure of the color yet...she said "bambu" but I thought that was the color for the Gaufre line...as we know some of these SAs have no clue, and sadly we know so much more!

Alouette...call her and tell her that I told you about it...she can tell you the color. Also, did you get the Vitello Shine satchel?? Is this the one with the pocket in the front and ties on the side?

Longchamp...I actually love your hobo...so I am waiting until both come in to decide.

^^it's a hobo style w/ a zipper in the front. I got it in purple. Not sure why I like it so much but I'm just drawn to it. It might have something to do w/ the fact that it resembles bbag leather to me. I only have one bbag but I like this style too. No ties on the side.

drechie - So was the black one I told you about not at the NM anymore or did you call? First off, if you think you're ever having to "settle" for a bag, then that's a big red flag in my book NOT to get it. And there's no such thing as a "low class" Prada, lol! Some may not have as much of an aesthetic appeal like other bags but Pradas are timeless. With that said, white patent leather is very nice but you have to be very careful about color transfer. Also have to be careful storing the bag as it might get stuck to another bag and color transferred also if not stored in its dust bag.

HTH....never settle. If you must have a bag and it's on sale and it's avail, there's your sign!!

I ordered the black patent on line and sent it back this past Monday. I love the shape but it's REALLY shiny. To me, it's like leather with this thick, deep shiny finish on it. Just a little too shiny for me and I had to make some choices. I can't keep them all.

I would have to see it, but my first impression is --no white patent. If you don't love the bag, don't get it, you'll be sorry. Save your money for a piece that you really love.

I emailed Joanna about the hobo that you described from NM, must have been off last night, so looking for a response from her today. I don't know her schedule off by heart--I should!!!! But thinking she's off today too.

Will post as soon as I know. And this week or next, more fall line should be coming.

Thanks to LVholic and Lisa at NM I have this bag coming on Monday. It was just too good to pass up at $728. I have always wanted a turquoise bag and when I saw LVholic's post I was stoked. Emailed Lisa and within an hour she had found one on the west coast - then needed to wait (time zone issue) for the store to open to make sure it was there. I can't wait to have her in my hands! Thanks LVholic for your post!!!!

By mail. All my NM shopping is online. It will show up again on line. You will have to watch for it diligently though.

I am an NM online shopper too and when I return an item that is no longer on the site, I watch for it pop back up on the site again around the time my return would be processed. It was fascinating to see!

ME TOO!! It's funny to see a bag you know you returned pop up. Or one that was bought and then cancelled. I bought the antik hobo in antique grey after a tPFer bought it; then found out she had cancelled it.
