omg! I would have died!

Did you sit there and pretend everything was ok, or did you hit her on the head with it?

Oh I tried to play it cool, bag was on my lap and somehow her drink caming pouring down on my lap. I was telling Emmy about it, how the group said, "susan what's your problem, it's just a handbag." must have looked like a nut--I lifted that bag up so quick I felt like a rocket launcher.

Yes I freaked inside, but don't think I showed much on the outside.

90% of the drink dripped off as had the bag sprayed w/ silicone but there is a spot of bleeding. I was careful to blot it and not wipe what was left. I took it today back to the guy that sprayed it and having a second application. He wants to let it sit for a week before we do it.

See no one but you guys would understand this about our precious beauties.

It's a great deal but yep, it's gone. There's others out there trust me. Just look. Did you see the one I posted? I also talked about another bag at my NM that was on sale around the same price, shoulder bag and black that met your requirements.

Thank you! It's very comfy, EASILY fits over the shoulder and it's even slightly adjustable w/ the buckles so you get an even longer shoulder drop. Very easy to use and low maintenance. NM still has one left the last time I was there along with a great looking black deerskin tote/shoulder bag w/ snap closure, gold h/w for 8xx iirc. NM in Scottsdale, 480-990-2100.

Alouette, I have the lace bowler and 4 year old twins. I think the bag will be fine. I don't think you want to take it into a rain storm but it feels pretty good to me. In truth, you don't want it to last forever - right? Because you will want to move on to the next great bag at some point. This is a great price now for the lace and the pitone. I don't think you would be sorry with either.

Come, come.....you were lusting after the same bag!!!! Yes it does look beautiful in the garden but is very easy to carry. I had so many compliments in the two days that I carried her. I even set her in the grass at the park if you can imagine that!!!! It is a lot more durable that I thought it would be.

OMG!!!! I would have died. The first and only time I took a bag with me to a Seahawks football game the idiot in front of me spilled an entire beer into my bag. I honestly wanted to come out of my seat and kill him. It wasn't even a good microbrew but was a cheap Miller. I ended up taking the bag to the drycleaners as I thought it was lat least worth a try (it was suede) and it actually came back fine. It looked great and didn't smell like booze. But I will NEVER take a bag with me to the game again.

I don't want to steer you wrong Alouette, I love my lace bowler, and don't worry about it bleeding, but I'm sure the finish won't last forever.

If I saw it up for sale like it is now, and didn't have it, I'd snatch it up in a heartbeat.
