BTW, Saks BH still has the flying dumpling bags in both leather and lambskin.

I wanted one but changed my mind after seeing one being used as battering ram in the shoe department. The bag looked like it was flying through the air. Poor thing.

So my mom and I went to the SCP Saks on Thursday to pre-sale. It was it crazy there. We ended up getting some good bags and stuff. I've been wanting a Prada and was so happy to have found one. This is the bag I ended up getting which you can see from the link

^ It's that same exact bag but the design is different. Instead of the design in the pic mine has like tiger stripes on the sides of the bag. I really like it. And the original price was $1650 and ended up being $494.95. Such a great deal. So happy I finally have a Prada bag.

Anyone knows any leather guaffre? I was at in NM in San Francisco but i had a very bad experience with a rude SA. She showed me a beautiful Chanel and i did not take it since the bag (a shoulder bag) does not stay on my shoulder when i tried it. Then she got really disinterested and kinda walked away. She somehow returned and when she saw that i managed to find myself a couple of bags are are holding on to them.

Can someone tell me a good SA for NM and Saks. Btw, what is the deal at Saks? WHY BAGS go so low as 500?

^You'll find lots of good SA rec's on the forum but I use Norma for Saks (Phx) 602-955-8000. She's a Prada specialist. I use Joy at NM 480-990-2100. She's a Chanel specialist.

Saks offering 70% off select merchandise including bags,shoes, apparel. It's 40% off ticket price plus an additional 50% off on Tues if you use your Saks card. I have a feeling they're doing this to get to your money faster than their competitors.

Note that because it is the weekend, many of the more popular Saks stores have locked their phones. So you may have to leave a message with the operator who would then pass it on to an SA. Or a SA may pick up the message and call you back.

Please be patient. I've been on the phone all day for shoes. I'm not really interested in purses although SAs kept calling me back with purses.

But if you can get to a store, do it! If there is limited parking at the store, bribe someone to drop you off.

It's so much easier to talk to a SA in person. If they are rude, find somebody else.

If you can't get to a store, keep calling until you get through. You will eventually get through and somebody will pick up!

Prada bags are still available in NY. CALL!
They have the most # of bags right now!

I agree with Linpaddy, there are plenty of fabulous SA's so don't waste your time with anybody who is rude. I have a wonderful SA in NM in Natick. Her name is Esther and she is the Prada specialist. They are a new store so since their sales are slower they have more inventory (at least that's what I was told) . I did see a lot of amazing Prada there today. Give Esther a call, 508-620-5700 and tell her sandy referred you.

There is a gray one available on sale at NM in Phoenix. It is not, however patent. Call my SA Cathy @ 480-990-2100. Please tell her Betty Abraham sent you. It is probably 33-40% off right now and if you use your NM card, you will get an additional 15% off!
