To answer some questions above, I "think" the additional 50% off is for Saks card holders only. When I visited my Saks this am, they had purple metallic zip around wallets on sale for only $140'ish iirc (it was info overload) in that stiff leather, not gauffre. Also had smaller french wallets on sale in the same color and leather. I also saw lots of nylon messenger styles on sale. TONS of leather bags on sale, walls and walls. Lace bags, leather basketweave bags, the raspberry color bags, black patent bags, etc. I couldn't believe my eyes. I got a Prada bag and the purple French wallet.

tulip - Didn't see any e/w leather gauffres but there's another Saks that has a black n/s gauffre included in the sale fyi. Let me know if anyone is interested in the info.

mamasazkitchen - I believe they accept phone orders. I've done that in the past. btw, I'm in AZ too! Hate this hot weather!

I just came back from the New Orleans Saks store. There was one in cera. It was a little faded in places (dispplay piece) so I let it go. And there were at least 10 black nylon e/w gauffres.

Phoenix Saks. Call 602-955-8000 and ask for Prada. Norma Roberts and tell her Adrianna referred you. If she's busy, you can ask for Callie. Yes, it was the continental size iirc.

My mom got two great deals today:

She got this one for about $550 including taxes,

and this Miu Miu in navy blue

This one was $398 including taxes!!!

My Saks was INSANE. I bought 7 pairs of flats: one pair of Chanel, 4 pair of Tods, and 3 pairs of Tory Burch for $1000! I am sooo giddy right now!

^^ congrats! Your mom's bags are gorgeous! I am giddy with you! I am on a high from all the shopping and deals. Just went way overboard, even for me.

I snagged the graphite modore ruffled bag for around $500 and then the SA kept talking and talking and talking and by the time he was through with me, I had a lot more non-prada bags on the pile.

to add, i believe if you use your Saks card to pay for a $2000+ purchase (not necessarily one item), then they defer your payments for 1 year.

Also... regarding the cera gaufre e/w... i think the uneven coloring on the bag is actually part of the design. mine is certainly that way. what great deals!

alouette... my new Saks AZ SA is Sean... you know him? I remember Norma helped me out before too and she was extremely super nice. I do miss my old SA Amanda though.
