Smile Newbie here
Hello purse bloggers! I just joined today and excited to read and gawk at all the pretty fabulous Prada purses! Just wanna share my latest purchase about a week ago...it's the Prada Vitello Daino Side-pocket metallic tote in Denim metallic blue pebbled calf leather. Originally priced at $1495, I got it at $673 online at Bergdorf Goodman. It's very lightweight, is a good size. Sorry for the poor quality of pic. In person it's not that metallic, but it appears so due to the glare of the flash of my camera phone. I'm really happy with this latest purchase and have been using this bag since.

3) No second studded bag for you my dear....that would drain from necessary cabat funds. I am still scouring to find anything I can possibly sell. I am having to dig deeper and might actually have to sell something I care about!!
1. Here's the Lanvin. Love his bags. Jill has it, loves it. She has it in black, I'm waiting on the brown, which won't be out until September 30th.

2. Ostrich bags--just got note from Joanna. Waiting to hear back about prices. I know you don't just convert Euros to USD to get the price, it will be much less.

These are terrible pix, scanned and uploaded from a pix she had in the store.

BN 1802 is gorgeous in real life, this pix does not do it justice.

I saw everyone of these bags in Paris. I really liked the BL 0643 and the BN 1801. Still uncertain what colors they are getting and if they can SO any color. She won't know for a couple weeks.

3. Ya S, you are right, I feel like I'm cheating getting the Lanvin, so another bag on it's way out tomorrow even though Lanvin won't be availabe until Sept 30th. Have to stick to one in out rule.

The Lanvin bag, tried to grab it at another site I frequent, had it in my shopping cart, took less than a minute to look at something else...well you know.. went to check out and gone.

The entire Saks stores are only getting six in the brown and on hold for one and there is waiting list for the 6. Am secretly a Lanvin and Valentino bag lover...still in the closet on both.

Have to keep looking at these two designers, some seasons, nothing is bag worthy.

I have this petale tote and love it--gets a lot of action.

But must say I love my nylon Prada's I just got, can grab and go and great for running around. This w/e will post pix of the new color, and my 3 small ostrich pieces.

ok......before I got pre-busted I had ordered this wallet. I think I am going to keep it because when I tranisition from pre-bust to bust, it is not like it is going to help me that I returned this wallet. RIGHT??

The studded wallet is slightly different from the studded bag I got.
  • the wallet is all studs, the bag has alternating rows of studs and metal circles
  • Although both are made of a nappa leather, the black colors are not exactly the same.
I don't intend to ever use the studded wallet with the bag because I think that would be way too matchy, matchy for my style.

Wallet

Wallet compared to my current wallet for size comparison

Bag

You can see the studs versus the metal circles

Love the wallet S, thanks for posting. Agree, purchased pre bust so you're in the clear.

love that wallet!!! and i agree with you - pre-bust acquisitions are sunk costs, so you are allowed to keep them! lol! also agree with you regarding studded bag and studded wallet worn together - i think it's too matchy-matchy aka overkill! lol!

Thanks! The stripes wallet is one of my favorite wallets ever. There was one on sale at NM last spring and I wanted to get it because I love my current one so much. I decided against it, but now wish I had snapped it up!!
