Thanks everyone!

I love the fact that the leather is extremely soft and it is feather light!

Theoretically I think buying a bag on vacation counts as vacation expense, not bag expense. My DH is going to be surpried how much Canadian vactions cost because I ended up with a BV and this Prada.

Y'all may remember that I was interested in this one, but when Joanna didn't have it and couldn't get it I stopped thinking about it. And then I go to Toronto and there it is staring me in the face saying "What are you going to do about it? I dare you!!"

So here she is..

OM Gawd S you're killing me here, love this bag, but on my self imposed ban until I decide on other purchases. I see it all over now, and WANT it, but can't. Congrats, hope you love it. My smaller one has been seeing a lot of action w/ summer parties and loves it.

Here it is at Style drops, but sure you paid much less. Congrats!!!!

I am killing me too. So during the bag ban I bought this bag and a BV parachute bag (also a Canadian vacation purchase). And I know have one more purchase brewing--not Prada. To be revealed when all the cards fall into place. Then I really have to stop. No bag ban this time--just good hard common sense. But seriously, I am going to have to sell a few things to raise some cash and creat some room.

I didn't know styledrops had the bag! Unfortunately it was about that price. I saw it in the US for $2,100 (or maybe $2,150--can't remember), but then that one was sold. And I didn't want to pay that for it.

Then Joanne couldn't get one and I didn't see it anywhere else. So part of me said, "that's great--I'm glad I didnt' spend the money" and then other part of me said "oh, my god -- why can't I get that bag". And then I walk into the Prada boutique at Holt Renfrew and was chatting with the SA about the elusive studded bag that I loved. She opens a drawer and pulls it out. Well you see where I ended up. I think the Canadian price was $2,050, so it ended up being about $1,920 (no tax).

When I was in Holt Renfrew the SA said that Prada was raising the prices again, and they were starting to go through the process of marking bags up.

I don't know anyone here who likes suspense--spill the beans Babe. Please tell me it's a Cabat, because I'm still mulling over which one to get, and would love to hear other suggestions.

You made me laugh. I really don't intend for it to be suspense. I can pretend that I haven't done anything if I just don't talk about it! LOL, see how long it has taken me to fess up to Canada? The insanity of it all amazes me. At least ryrybaby and bagladee seem to be equally insane!!

Oh - but I fess up right away. I have four bags coming on Monday. A maxi, 2 WOC, and a LV. And I am still waiting for Lisa to get my craquele bag. That is all that I have in the pipeline for now!

It is light as a feather! And the leather is soft, soft, soft.

I think the inside might be that fake leather stuff, although every store swears it is leather. I don't even care. I am in love...
