I couldn't find the link..but here is the simple description of the bag from BG:

"Choose red, black, or blue pebble-finished calf leather. Shoulder strap. Hanging ID tag. Made in Italy".

Ah yes, NM's/BG's lousy, inaccurate descriptions at work again!

That's a deerskin ("cervo" in Italian) bag. These are good old fashioned, low maintenance dyed leather. No problems at all with that.

Dear PP, I know you said low maintenance but how do I care for this bag? Can you suggest any leather conditioner for it or do I just leave it alone. I want this bag to last a long, long time. BTW, did NM got the name wrong too? I read somewhere that vitello means calf leather, is it not?
