Prada Psycho

Hi there... Nope, there are no cards, not even the sleeper bag. I know its authentic, but just don't know what it is. One of my personal "peeves" is listing an item about which I know almost nothing. I think I'll I'll take her down to my SA at Nieman's and see if she can help...

Thanks for your help

Default Can any one help me with this Prada bag???
Hi
I am new to this but a friend highly recommended you as people who may be able to help me.
In 1998 I purchased this bag from Prada, 5th Avenue after been unable to get it in the UK, (there was a 12 month wait at Harrods!!!!), it was a really sort after bag. I am in the process of selling and updating some of my collection and need help with the name of this bag.
I do still have the card and it states model number B8516, I have always thought it was wool but on the card (in Italian of course) it states 'FELTRO & VITELL' the colour is grey (on card 'colore' is anitracite).
I am attaching pictures for you to see, any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Emma

Good luck with that!!! Most SAs know less than we do here.

It's authentic. I wasn't doubting that, but the authenticity cards would have the style name on them. I've never seen that specific style before in the suede. Could be one that was only available in the European market. We see a lot of that on eBay. BlueFly also gets Euro Pradas that we won't see over here at NM or where ever.

2. It looks like it's from glace zippers collection when it first came out. I think it's similar to this one: http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/main/...=1189919683271 EXCEPT for the shoulder straps. The one on your pic can be worn over the shoulder, plus there's that 'plaque' detail where the straps are attached to the bag.
3. Since this is an older style, your best bet are online auction sites and consignment shops. Unless you're willing to settle for the bag linked to at #2 (you can always double the shoulder straps so you can wear it over the shoulder)... in which case, that should be relatively easy to find.
I'll keep looking anyway and will give you a holler if I find any more info. HTH.
Thanks for the info.
I think I've found the bag I'm looking for :

Unfortunately, they don't sell this bag I can only borrow it...what a bummer!

Here are two bags I would like you to ID, please. I think they are Prada, but not 100% sure. Princess Mary of Denmark wore them back in 2005, so these are definitely older models.
Have you seen them selling online at all?
Thanks

Mercifulfairy, i dont think the Prada stores carry this bag anymore. They were from the past season. If i didnt remember wrongly, I got her at $900 plus, close to $1000. Hopefully they will repeat the design again... if not you may try your luck on e-bay if you dont mind a 2nd hand.

The first one - group name: Pitone Shine or Pitone Skipper (i can't realy recall)

the first one is def. a classic vintage bag. try check ss05 collections. i believe the clasp is in cocco as well. these were the classic models of prada bags back in the day.

Color: Nero + Teak

I can't recall the article number. But I realized that PRADA re-released this bag in an updated version by removing the Triangle logo and replacing with with an embossed logo on the top of the opening. This was a runway bag SS08.

Default Prada tote in movie The Proposal
Can anyone tell me the style name of this handbag Sandra Bullock carries in the movie The Proposal? It's just gorgeous and I gotta have it! It looks similar to the Vitello Daino tote but no side pockets and there are straps below the handles. Plus I noticed 4 goldtone feet on the bottom. Sorry picture isn't that clear.
