I called it my Choo Choo bag (there's a train on the luggage tag). It's from S/S 2007 and very hard to find now. Prada just called it a calfskin tote.

Can anyone pls let me know the ID/model of this bag?
Is this classical bag or season bag? If season, which season was it? Thx! http://www.designer-exchange.biz/ima...LuxBag(DX).jpg |

Also: Prada holds it's value better than Gucci, so if you ever think you might need to sell, go for Prada |

As for durability, it all depends on the style and leather finish. I do have Pradas that require more care when I'm using them (like not putting them on the floor, not wearing them with dark colors/denim, and being more conscious of it so I don't bang them around), but at the same time, I have Pradas that I consider to be workhorses (especially my nylons). For cervo lux, I do use it carefully since I have heard and seen (on ebay pics) how little it takes to damage these bags. I think if you plan to use it on rotation with your other bags, you should be ok. But if you're looking for a daily use bag, you may have to look for something else. I got my violet cervo lux for $810 last year, and I just recently bought another cervo lux for about the same price (don't remember my total - but it should be around there). Where did you find yours? And which Gucci are you thinking of getting?

I'm thinking of getting a bag which is more durable this time,
![]() I do feel that, just humble personal opinion that Prada is more stylish and 'higher status', correct me if i'm wrong. marose, i saw it in KL, Malaysia - not sure whether you know the location. Where are you from? am thinking to use the bag quite frequent, but after reading the comments from forums....find it this type of bag can easily be damaged and really need to take care of them well...am now thinking twice to get it. The gucci am thinking is the guccicama leather. Hmm..is there any other bags - prada leather you can suggest to me with the budget of not more than USD1k? Sorry, kinda off abit again ![]() Thanks! |

I've been trying to ID this bag and posted this question under Celebrity Handbags and everybody thinks it's a Prada bag. But I'm still not 100% sure, because I can't see the Prada logo on the bag.
1. Do you think it's a Prada bag? 2. Do you the style number and collection? (Hint: Princess Mary was carrying this bag back in 2008, so it must be an older bag). 3. Where can I buy this bag online? I WANT THIS BAG SO BADLY...pls help me! Thanks :) ![]() ![]()

2. It looks like it's from glace zippers collection when it first came out. I think it's similar to this one: http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/main/...=1189919683271 EXCEPT for the shoulder straps. The one on your pic can be worn over the shoulder, plus there's that 'plaque' detail where the straps are attached to the bag. 3. Since this is an older style, your best bet are online auction sites and consignment shops. Unless you're willing to settle for the bag linked to at #2 (you can always double the shoulder straps so you can wear it over the shoulder)... in which case, that should be relatively easy to find. I'll keep looking anyway and will give you a holler if I find any more info. HTH. |

Hi all...
I consign on Ebay, and just received this FAB Prada suede tote, but the owner no longer has the cards or dust bag... Her husband purchased it for her about 2-3 years ago, and she thinks it was a Runway bag... I've got a bunch of pics, so this will take a few posts... Any info that you may have, please forward it along... Thanks in advance

Round two... And also notice that there are two little tags with numbers in the pocket - the top one is red, and there is another one in black under that... Does that indicate a Runway model??

As to being a Runway bag, I've no idea. It just looks like a suede version of some of the tote bags that have come out the past few years. Did it come with any of the authenticity/stock cards? |
