Default My Prada nylon bags
My bags are a little boring compared to the ones we usually see here, but I wanted to post them because ever since I got my first Prada bag a year ago (the tote below) I've been a nylon fan!

The tote has seen some rough use but it's held up wonderfully well. I love the pink lining too. My uglydoll is a big fan of it.

The hobo was my purchase from the Cabazon outlet a few days ago. I haven't used it yet so it's currently still stuffed with paper.

(By the way, the Cabazon outlet had a lot of similar totes in like three different shades of purple, gray, and other colors that I don't remember - no black and pink though. They were about $400-$500.)

Woo Hoo, love your bags. Love Prada nylon, have so many of them though!! Thanks for posting, love the pink lining, I've not seen that before.

I'd be afraid to live by the Cabazon outlet.

What awesome bags! I have that same tote in fumo although no pink lining. Great score for the outlet. Just like LC pointed out, I'd be deathly afraid to live that close there.

What are the dimensions of the hobo? Looks fab!

thanks for the compliments!

guccilove, looking forward to seeing your bags!

alouette, i measured the hobo and it's about 11" W x 8.5" H x 5" D. just so you know, the handle and the trim are made of leather. which is partly why i haven't used it yet - i need to read up on leather care first.

Ever since I got my first Prada nylon, I'm longing for more. Love the pink lining on your tote! Congrats, I'd love to visit one of the outlets.

I'm thinkin....maybe if a certain somebody has too many nylon bags, I could help relieve her of some.

I just can't understand why people would spend good money on nylong bgs which at best, IMO look 'ok', got to be honest.

Do you have any children? A lot of women here who have kids (including myself) and even those who do not have kids prefer nylon to leather in some occasions (i.e. - inclement weather, running errands w/ kids). It's a nice feeling to be able to not worry about scuffing leather bags or getting them dirty.

sea_phoenix is very excited about her FABULOUS purchases which is why she created her own thread to show them off. I love her purchases and in the Prada subforum, we're all positive and encouraging here. Honesty is paramount as well but we use it with tact. We appreciate your honest opinion but please respect the OP. If you don't have anything nice to say well then, you know how the rest goes.

BTT - Two thumbs up for the great purchases yet again, sea_phoenix!

thanks alouette for the very nice words, but don't worry, i'm not offended! a couple years ago i wouldn't have imagined spending several hundred dollars on any kind of bag (even if it were made of gold!). to me, buying each bag, regardless of what it's made of, is a big decision but as long as i love the bag and i put it to good use, that makes me happy and that's all that matters! everytime i open my black tote and see the pink lining, i always smile because it's just so fun.

i don't have any kids, but i'm lazy and low-maintenance... that is to say, i like low-maintenance things... so nylon is perfect for me!
