I've been wanting a black Prada nylon tote to take with me when I travel. For some reason, something always gets in the way of me buying one.
Last month, I found the perfect Prada tote for me at the Hong Kong airport.

It's lightweight, roomy and just so pretty. I'm taking this bag with me when I go to Paris next month.
Thanks for letting me share!

yes, lurking on this forum is dangerous!
After seeing so many tpfers with great saffiano totes, I felt compelled to own one too.

I LOVE the nylon totes. I own a smaller east/west tote and use it all the time. It's versatile, sturdy and still looks sophistocated.

congrats on a great tote.

i agree about it still looking sophisticated while being very versatile and casual I had to explain to my dh that it's different from the le pliage totes of Longchamp. He actually balked at the price of this tote- thinking that the nylon was the same as Longchamp- but changed his mind when he saw it. I'm not dissing Longchamp, by the way, since those are great shopping/travel bags, too. But Prada's nylon totes are in a totally different league altogether.

Oh yah, you're absolutely right about a 'league of their own' I find myself reaching for this purse whenever I go somewhere semi casual but still want to convey a bit of class. The gold and black really help the purse stand out! And I've absued the heck out of my purse and it still holds up. You really can't get better for a traveller's purse.

Yes, usually dh's need to see the item in person to recognize quality/beauty. I know my partner usually needs the visual for my purchases.
