Fake! There are gobs of this style that are fakes on eBay right now.

Edit: Here's a real one with a real price tag (20% off the retail):

I did the search, very few bad comments about Linda's Stuff

They were just written up in Fortune Magazine.

I guess w/ the volume they do, almost 100,000 one would expect slow shipping, etc, and rare fake. Think Fashionphile just had one slip through by mistake, it happens. Bet it has even happened to you PP while doing the AT. Ugh, even BlueFly had that happen to them once, but for the most part Linda's Stuff is a great seller and if you're not satisfied she has 7 day returns.

I use them as a seller and would rather their reputation not be tarnished here, but you are entitled to your opinion. Hmm, even Neiman's had a fake bag slip through from a return, there is a post on the Bottega forum.

I have toolhaus'd her and aware of the negative FB, but as they say, they want a satisfied customer and can always send back for return.

None of this has anything to do with what I was referring to, nor is anyone "tarnishing" her reputation, nor is anyone inferring that she sells fakes. It would have been nice if you had PM'd me about this instead of throwing out all these issues that are irrelevant to what I posted.

Hmm, I thought you said there has been a lot of bad press about Linda's stuff recently, That's what your post is referring to.

If I had pm'd you, how would that help w/ others that are looking at her stuff??? I sell bags, shoes, jewelry, mink coats, clothes w/ her and love her, that's all I wanted to get across.

I'm not getting into this any further except to say that any time someone posts a link to an auction for authentication, I'm going to give my opinion about the bag and, when I think it's relevant, the seller.

I agree that Linda is a good seller but she's not infallible. There have been enough fakes pass by her to warrant getting authentication on her products and I personally have purchased items from her that are NOT even CLOSE to the description! The ebay description only glossed over the true condition of the items and I've had to return several because of SNADs.

I think it's a good idea to always authenticate any and all products that have the possibility to be faked and when it comes to Linda's Stuff, always, always double check quality and condition!

Yes, that didn't escape although I know that sometimes black can be hard to photograph! I will send her a message and find out her secret identity and get back to you

Wow, thank you for the quick reply Prada Psycho. I get worried when a bag seems like a good deal as I assume it's a fake.

That seller's things I have looked at have always been authentic, but it's still a good idea to have each item looked at. The Super Fakes are getting really good, unfortunately.

Funny thing, I've gotten some gorgeous authentic Pradas the past year off eBay at really low prices, but I've seen fakes of the same bags for a whole lot more money!!! Nothing's set in stone on eBay except perhaps: Shop With Caution!
