It's authentic, but I personally wouldn't pay that price. It has a lot of "warts" on it.

It's ombre. It goes from a taupe color to a gray color.

Side note, I had ordered this same ombre leather in a tote style brand new from Bergdorf's last year. It was already showing signs of pitting in the ombre treatment. I sent it back. Prada does lovely treatments like this and the antik finish, but the durability leaves a LOT to be desired....

Although the bag in the picture is authentic, I am a bit concerned that this seller sold this bag twice before. Here is the link to the other listing wherein the seller says it was also a "re-list". Seller also only has $200 in Paypal protections and the price is ridiculously low. All these things considered, I would be very leery about bidding on this particular bag.
