wow! what a bag! i haven seen anything like that in a while already!
i love the pics of the fairies but am not really digging the shape of the bag... would be nice if they have a greater variety of bags for this design!

Just got back from 5th Ave. Each store in NY (and the rest of the US) only got in 3 bags and only the larger size. If you want one, you'd better hurry. Retail price for the large was $2290.

btw - you said in an earlier post that the smaller size is $2290 and the larger was $2490 or so. so now it's confirmed - the larger is $2290 and the smaller one is therefore less $?

Hey there Shopping247. I did. I got the larger size on the theory that if I waited for the smaller one, I'd end up with nothing.

The larger one is a Bauletto, if that helps you figure out the size. Here are dimensions I found on Amazon, of all places for a different style of Bauletto -4.3 x 11.4 x 6.7 inches. The smaller one is supposed to about the size of the Glace Satchel that's still on the Saks website under the Fall Handbags section. Not sure about the price for the smaller one. Unlike LV, Prada seems to keep its sales staff in the dark about prices and release dates.

One more juicy tidbit - the leather has a sparkly finish. The shopping bag is sitting under my desk and I keep sneaking peeks inside. I wish Spring would hurry the heck up and get here!

restricter - OMG!! congrats on scoring this handbag!! i can't wait to see pics of this, especially the sparkly finish! do let us know if the large can be worn on the shoulders as is (for spring clothes, so no bulky wintry jackets) or whether it comes with a cross-body strap.

i am going to pick up this prada bag from Saks today (see pic below, from billbill's thread about this bag). let me know if the large is comparable to this size or not (or i can check myself by comparing the measurements you just posted above). actually, if you wouldn't mind posting the exact measurements of the large when you get home later, that would be great. ^Girl, you need to bust that bag out whether it's winter or not! I didn't realize you had gotten the bag ALREADY. This is great news. We want to see pics, especially detailed pics of the sparkly finish. I actually like the larger bag better, although the small's great, too.
