Authenticate This! Prada or Miu Miu!

Hi I sent a request to authenticate before I knew how...forgive me I'm a newbie! I'm trying to make a buying decsion on a Prada purse on eBay. I can no longer find the style in any stores and nor can they locate this bag, the real one...They are simply advising that they are longer in stock and they cannot get anymore... I love this item! I will attempt to attach the images... Thanks so much for anyone who can give me any feed back!

Checking out eBay, almost all of the coffers are fakes. The original bags have raised studs at each of the four corners of the lock plate where the keyhole is, and almost none of the eBay bags do. There is even one displayed with a BG receipt, claiming to be authentic. I am appalled. I hate to be naive, but the fact that someone would go that far to rip someone off just boggles the mind.

ITA, every coffer bag I've seen on eBay is fake. It's very sad... there's always someone out there who is misinformed and falls for it.

Thanks so much for the feed back I do appreciate it. That was my initial thought as well when I was told it was out on eBay...One can hope, but of course no one wants to be ripped off!

So so true... you need to be so careful and never buy unless you're 100% sure! Sorry I couldn't help you with your bag but I'm not familiar with that style and therefore couldn't offer you an opinion.

I think I already know the answer to this, but could someone authenticate this for me? As soon as I received it I took it to Holt Renfrew and they actually said it was authentic. It wasn't until the handles started coming apart that I began to question authenticity. This was back when I didn't know better. I just feel sick right now.

I know sometimes people on forums can write letters of authenticity. Does anyone here do that? Thanks so much everyone!

^ We cant write letters for you ..Im sorry..We dont want to jeopardize the PF in any way.If its falling aprt it must be fake..NYLON Pradas can take a beating!

as far as i know none of prada or miu miu bags have a serial number inside. it's just on the authencity card
