It's fake - the gold is very yellow and shiny. It's supposed to be antique looking (not a perfect finish on the metal.). I have attached pictures of my coffer's hardware up-close so you can see the difference:

I actually own a couple of bags from this collection..This bag actually looks authentic but the price seems too low
