Is this the one from BlueFly? If so, it's not the same bag. The one at SmartBargains is the one I had.

This is the one I had:

Either way, those places make up their own names for Prada bags, so you can't really go by that. Prada doesn't give actual names to their bags like most designers do.

Here's the pic from BlueFly that looks just like what you had:

Hi,
I'm back. I was wondering if someone could verify this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/prada-fairy-bag_...d=p3286.c0.m14

There's definitely a lot of flags going up since the guy can't spell but he's from the Netherlands, so I guess I'd give him the benefit of the doubt.

The purses in PP's post look like the "anemone" color, which is a brighter/lighter purple. I ordered a wallet in this color from BF before - I believe a bunch of us tPFers did. The bag in your post is "viola", a deeper violet that's similar to the violets used in the multi-color nappa stripes. HTH.
Either of them are beautiful, IMO.

Judging from the skewed placement of the logo, among other things suspiciously wrong, I would agree with you. On nylons, it's easier to identify the fakes than authentic ones.

Thanks. Did you read all the posts? I want the deeper violet color; BlueFly no longer has it. Smartbargain has the purse. However they show the lighter color in their photo but call it "violet." What should I do??

Hi all, is the Prada bag in the attached pictures authentic? My gut tells me no because the style number written on its authenticity card is BR3789-ASK-F0002 which is the same style number as the one shown on the NM site http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/ca...0749cat3470732 yet there are subtle differences between both bags... help!!!

Hi ladies, I'm new to the Prada forum although Prada was my first designer love!
Can you please help authenticate this bag and does this bag sell for that low? Thanks!

Fake, fake, fake. That bag doesn't exist. The similar authentic version is around 4-5 years old.

This is the real thing. The one on the NM website is the newer version of this bag. This is from last year.
