Well today is the first day I have gone into the office after being off sick for ever. I used my preloved patchwork bays for the first time. I had intended to use it instead of my laptop bag and fit everything in but it wasn't to be as the a4 files and laptop wouldn't go in and besides it was just too heavy to lift! Lovely bag though but a bit worried because of the rain because it is oak and other browns.

I hope your first day back goes well, hope ur colleagues were supportive.
Have you sparyed ur bays? If you coated it well the rain shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Me, choc phoebe and the kids have just been on a short excursion to the post office and blockbusters. I hate the school holidays when the weathers like this and we are all stuck indoors.

Thanks Cat, work today was a struggle but occupational health have got me onto a staged return. 4 hours a day this week and next, then 5 etc. At least it is a more gentle return.
Patchwork bays came to me looking tired so I cleaned and polished it with radley care cream and then colloniled her to death. She has survived the rain ok.

Bluecat - I'm glad you are going back on stages. Love patchwork bays (any chance of modeling pics?)!! Small/notebook laptop is no problem but proper size one AND files could be a bit too much, I agree.

For me today, because of the weather forecast it's Plum Glace Bays - perhaps tomorrow as well... Where is the sun gone??

I've been out and about doing quality checks all day for the project I'm working on & having meetings with suppliers. Black goatskin Mabel has been my very lovely companion. I've hung a bronze heart keyring from her just to give her a bit of va-va-voom.

Hi all, bit late into this, but today I've been using my large black Mabel.
Find it tends to be either this or Choc Roxy for work as I can cram the kitchen sink into them!

Travel bunny - share your horror. Why don't they call it 'plastic' instead of 'non leather'??
