Default What to buy next!
Morning all!

I'm relatively new to the boards (I usuall just read for tips ;o) )

I have two lovely bags in my collection - a chocolate Joel and a black Darwin Bays.

I'm now trying to decide what to get next.....it's a difficult one! Fancied the Alexa but it is sooo expensive.

I have seen someone at work with a lovely black back that is "slouchy" and has a long canvas type strap and two shorter plaited handles - any ideas what this could be? I've never seen it before, it's not a Mitzy or Daria or any of the other new ones with plaited straps....

Hi, Welcome to the forum (well posting on it anyway!!).

I've no idea what the bag you describe is but if it is a detatchable canvas strap, it could be that she's taken it off another bag and added it onto this one.

Hi welcome to the forum - could the bag your decribing be a somerset (can't remember the name) type messenger. If i recall, last year i saw a n / s style somerset with handles and a detatchable canvas messenger strap.

It could be a somerset north south maybe - they have a detachable strap and plaited handles....will try to find a pic. They had one in Bond st a few months ago and do crop up at the outlets....

be back with a pic soon

Yes - it doesn't look much on line but irl i really fell for it and if it had been 500 euros or less would have flexed the credit card.....

A great size and very useful....am sure the outlets will have tho.

That's the one!! Thanks ladies - I knew I asked the right people It does have a longer strap on it though. I'm pretty sure it must have come from an Outlet as I've never seen them in the shops that's why I wasn't sure what it was.

I'm not usually a fan of the Somerset but that's nice.

I saw the cerise leopard print Bays clutch - would love it but £500 seems a lot to spend on a clutch.......

The outlets had it in cream and khaki recently but I don't remember seeing any last week. If you call customer services they can do a stock location which might be quicker than calling all the outlets individually.

Thanks ever so much for the advice/help ladies!

No, I don't have the phone numbers, I would be grateful if you could post them here. I didn't realise outlets would post things out. I suppose you've got to take a chance if there's a fault on it? I have been to Bicester before but there wasn't really anything in when we were there.

I like the look of the NW Somerset in oak. I went to a local shop that just sells a select few (in Sheffield) yesterday and really liked the look of an oak Mollie they had in there. They also had another bag I'd not really seen before....something beginning with A....can't remember it now. I've never seen it any of the big stores or website before. That was lovely but thought the fastening might annoy me as it was like a long pin (like a door hinge).

I'm thinking the candy leopard print bays clutch might be on my next wishlist....I need something with colour!! If only they weren't so expensive ;o)
