Tiree - on the subject of your navy v putty dilemma - I don't think it's so important to think of which bag will go with the most outfits, as you have lots of lovely bags (it's not as if you need to buy one neutral bag which will go with absolutely everything iykwim!) So I think you should go with the one you love the most.

I know what corries means about the leather though - the putty is normal patent and therefore quite smooth and structured, whereas the navy is wrinkled patent and much softer. Don't know about the interior on the putty, but the navy has gorgeous black suede lining (and the gunmetal h/w of course).
Would I be right in saying the Rouge noir wrinkled patent is different to the navy leopard? my RN WP Bays is very structured and looks like a different leather to the photos of the NL Bays.

I think I could quite like them in something other than suede. I'd put my name down in the draw to get one for £160 and had been having recurring nightmares that I might actually win.
I'm having a rethink.
I am sitting here looking at handbags & literally having to stop myself from buying anything.

It is just aswell that the RN Mitzy is sold out on the website .. or there would be one on its way to me

Mind you - NOT cool for one to turn up for me when I am not at home for a week ... omg!

Now come on - off you pop & take some pics of your new triplets

I know the feeling. My OH is great now and shows some interest in my bags. When I arrived home tonight I told my OH about the Putty Bays and suggested that I could put the cost of taking a trip to Bicester eg, petrol, hotel etc towards a new current bag rather than a past season at the outlet.

He suggested that we both go down to Edinburgh in a week or 2, stay over (lovely) and go and buy the bayswater (not so lovely). I've never told him the actual price of a brand new bag. I normally now a couple of hundred off the price. So, if he came with me he'd find out it was £650 rather than £450. .... yikes!!!

I think OH would be utterly incredulous that a handbag could cost £650. A watch, a bracelet, maybe but not a handbag. And the trouble is that if the price of one is discovered then the ball really is on the slates as he'll multiply every bag by £650 and I will be toast

Hasn't helped this week that the news was reporting stories about "luxury brand Mulberry".

i think both are absolutely gorgeous, but I'd be inclined to get the putty. Lol probably because I did. I'm not sure if it'll be in the sale. I went to 4 different stores until I found the putty again, and I still wasn't sure whether or not to wait for the sale except I loved it even more when I tried it on again and it was the last one in stock....so oops! Matches my travelcard holder too :P

I prefer the navy - the wrinkled leather is softly wrinkled enough to hide creases. I saw a putty in Bond Street this week and it was quite creased. In fact looked more worn than my beloved navy leopard.

I agree! I thought long and hard about taking DH to Shepton. It was only the fact that he was buying me a bag that swung it but now he knows that I regularly spend £400ish on bags which isn't so good!

In same boat as you MB. Bad weather keeping OH in and my wings are clipped. Had a pair of boots for two days and tried on only one so far with one leg in a pair of tights while he was in the shower

Hiding things for no reason is getting a habit now!
