I just wish my DH would head out to the pub so that I could have a proper examination of the new beauty
We were away at a hotel for a few days so the UPS delivery safely came to my neighbour yesterday.....and I took a quick peek when we arrived home this eve and spirited it away under the spare bed...

Normally my DH is out in his workshop hammering away at his "Lego" but no joy tonight

Tiree , as you know I have the putty bays clutch and my girl has the navy leopard Bays . Personally , I think you have to go with the one that will go with your wardrobe the most . I would say the navy is more subdued and you're less lkely to tire of wearing it , however the putty is very stunning but not as subtle .

I have some contraband too that I can't get a look at.I came through the back gate today as my normal Modus Operandi is to stuff a parcel into a cupboard and retrieve later. However OH was in the back garden trying to fix the Dyson. I had to quickly put the big HOF bag into the blue wheelie and take the bag in in its dust cover under my jacket.

I wish I knew why I am so secretive !!!

Guilt I suppose

^^ Oooh corries, c'mon spill!!!!!

Tiree - on the subject of your navy v putty dilemma - I don't think it's so important to think of which bag will go with the most outfits, as you have lots of lovely bags (it's not as if you need to buy one neutral bag which will go with absolutely everything iykwim!) So I think you should go with the one you love the most.

I know what corries means about the leather though - the putty is normal patent and therefore quite smooth and structured, whereas the navy is wrinkled patent and much softer. Don't know about the interior on the putty, but the navy has gorgeous black suede lining (and the gunmetal h/w of course).

Flossie, have you heard anything about a Mulberry event this year?
My local Mulberry (cons) is having an event on the 19th Nov, all stock 10% off.
I sure this will be running at other Mulberry stores on various dates...

I like the Bayswater on other people but there are a few of us who aren't Bays girls.

Yes SJ - that's what I mean too. Despite my advanced years the Bays is too grown up and sophisticated for me. (Unless dearest Snowy ever wants to part with her ancient Oak icon . )

Yes indeed. No surprises there.

However while I was in I managed to fall in love with the Small Bayswater Clutch too. Even the great big Abigails didn't alarm me the way they usually do. I think I could quite like them in something other than suede. I'd put my name down in the draw to get one for £160 and had been having recurring nightmares that I might actually win.
I'm having a rethink.

Ahh, that's good to hear. Perhaps Edinburgh will have this even too.
