I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened this post and saw what you have been doing to your bags!!! OMG!

I'm also glad that you said that this only works on Darwin leather as I was going to ask that question (being a newbie an all!)
I thought as there was alot of new girls coming onto the forum,it might be a really helpful thing.Do you think Swanky could clean out the chat, and turn it into a sticky?? I have got more pics of other bags I have done, and maybe Mulberry London could give some advice about some of the other leathers.
I got to say though Ali,I soaked my Hanover in Collinil, did'nt do it at first,it said pre treated,so I inored my inner voice taht said to do it,and got three pretty large rainmarks on the back where I brushed against a car, pissed??? Ooooo, don't get me even started!!!

Anyway!! Moving swiftly on!! Lol!!! I sprayed it,its soft havana leather, and its great now,no more worries about getting caught in the rain in it!!!

I know,it makes me giggle when someone is worried about using collinil and will it work etc,and I did THAT!!!! hahahahahaha!!! But as I said to Ali,I noticed a lot of new girls around so I thought I'd bring it out of the archives and dust it down again!! 13 pages back!! It was 11pm,and I was dying to go to bed,but if I had left it I would have forgotten to do it today(I was up late glossing the bathroom while Sophie was out of the way) So don't worry!! Get spraying!!!

Wow!!! I'm not sure that I'm worthy to be in your presence Chaz!! My first oak bag got left in a puddle of water and I screamed at my son (he'd just got out of the bath and it was at the bottom of the stairs). Huge stain on the bottom of it BUT I had already drowned it in c spray and, hey presto, no stain - I knew it worked and have subs sprayed all my bags (although not that worried about the black ones because diff to see water stains). I would NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER have done what you have done. I get goosebumps even thinking about it.... No sireee!!

I noticed that the protector I bought with my sons shoes is the same stuff and even says made by Collonil (even though the bottle says Russell and Bromley)!

Kroquets Annie getting a spa before her flight home!!
1 Before spraying
2 Srayed
3 Detail of how much collinil is actually going on,its literally running off
4 All been sprayed, but you can see it returning to its original color, this is just minutes, does'nt take long at all.
5 And another detail, make sure that you give all the stiching a good dousing too.
