You are absolutley MAD - in such a grand way and we're loving it! How about forwarding your "test results" to Mulberry - I think they will not only be flabbergasted - but THRILLED! |

I just hope lots of new girls to Mulberry see this and gain someting from it,its always heartbreaking to hear someone has had an accident and has had their bag watermarked by the rain and it won't come out and its ruined their lovely new purchase. All that happens with the Collonil is a slight richening of the color, rather that than watermarks,or the leather starting to crack or change texture. I have to add that I have only tested on darwin/natural leather so far apart from the YSL which is a finer leather, but its not a Mulberry and glove leather etc could respond quite differently(see thread for pics) |

I give my Phoebe and Alana a spray every couple of weeks, if I remember.

I really would'nt like to say right now,as I've only recently done them, about a week ago? From what I did to the Elgin I would guess a month or so,but on the back where it rubs against me it may become vulnerable again, but I will do running tests as I want to know myself, with two bags that nearly come to a grand,I do want to see what works,at that price I want them to be around a damn sight longer!!xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |

Chaz - love your scintific spirit! (And your guts...) I have been on the fence about spraying my bags, but this is very convincing - will go get Collonil asap. Wonder if it works on glacé leather? The heat treated glossy finish of the glace bags is nearly water resistant already - hmmm...
