Hi,

Please can someone help? I have wanted a Ruby Bayswater for ages and have found the perfect one on Ebay (just had it authenticated). When I've seen photos of the Ruby on celebs or on the internet, there is a smallish round plaque in the middle of the bow, however, this is not on the Ruby on Ebay.
Are some Ruby's different or does it depend when/where the bag was bought from??

Hi Ruby,

Have only just seen this. The Ruby came in nude rugged lambskin and black cosmic sparkle leather. They should both have a metal fob on the centre of the bow.

Thanks for getting back to me. I spotted your Ruby on another thread..... I bloody love it. I received a message from another PF member saying that some Rubys were made without the little disc in the middle of the now. Lakrits gave it the ok. As it turned out, I didn't get it... I'll keep searching. I don't think I can justify introducing another member of the family to my collection just yet!! Thank you for getting back to me : )

Yes, some of the nudes were made....nude! With no tag. I've never come across a black one without. All the nudes I've seen for sale have looked rather battered and have suffered with varying levels of colour transfer...
The black cosmic sparkle is an amazing leather - the picture below does it no justice whatsoever...
I think if my bags were ever under threat and I could only save one it would be Ruby!
