Just went through the whole thread and now I have the bug, I defo want this to be my next purchase and like most of you the colour is hard to choose. I like the Oak and Chocolate, and from seeing Ali-bagpuss's choc I think that is the clincher

FrankieP: Love the Purplace Glace absolutely gorg

Can't wait to see the Black Glace, was wondering what that looks like.

ooooh I love it

Was in House of Fraser Oxford Street and they had a Chocolate and Oak Roxy. The Chocolate was not like Ali's it was actually darker, is possible that because Mulberry's are handmade that each one is never the same shade of that colour (hope that made sense)?

Hi guys,
I purchased my first roxy today in Oak, after my Luella Bernie broke!
However I have a slight problem...
my best friend has a baywater in oak, and originally i was going to buy the roxy in black.
however the oak tempted me and the shop assistant talked me into it! now my best friend is a little upset as her bag isn't unique anymore as mines a different style, but th same colour. i honestly didnt think about her when i was purchasing!
I really don't know what t do? I don't mind exchanging it for the black, but just liked the idea of the oak being all year round.
any advise?
Oak or Black?? or choc could work (altho i wear black clothing alot and doesn't chocolate brown and black clash!?)
Ah please help!
xxxxxxxxx

You should go with whichever colour you want. No point going for black if that is not what you really want/will use as much just because your friend is a little upset. Good luck with your decision!

You bought it for you, not for her! Did she think she owned the only tan bag in the world?

Lhatter, I agree with frankie and rascal - keep the oak if thats the one you want - its a lot of money to go spending on something youre not totally into, just to keep someone else happy. Plus your friend probably wont be around half the time that you use it will she? As Frankie said, its not the only oak bag in the world!

I think you made a fab choice btw.

Hey Frankie, where did you get the purple glaze roxanne? It's amazing. Are they still for sale anywhere?
