I don't think you will have any problem passing it on MF if you don't like it. I hate when stuff starts to go scarce. That's when I'm in danger of panic buying. I love the RN Mitzi colour and leather . It's lovely. I wish they had done some Mabel Hobos in it rather than the metallic leather.

Corries, have you seen the Mabel Hobo on Metallic RN IRL anywhere ? I was told by Mulberry CS that they would be on sale from Sept, but there's no sign of them on the website or in any of the shops where I usually source my Mulberry bags. Would love to know if there is anywhere in the UK that is actually stocking this style or whether these bags never actually made it into production.

Sorry Tagullah I have only read about it. I have seen a Bays in RN Metallic leather that's all. I wonder what has happened?

I just feel the Mabel Hobo is so attractive but colourwise they never completely push my buttons. I don't need another black bag and I prefer lipstick, butterscotch, emerald etc on smaller bags. I'm still huffing about Oak Spongy so would never buy one unless half price.

I'd love a purple navy or scarlet leather Mabel Hobo with silver hardware.

^^ Scarlet would be TDF!!!!!!

I have had to temporarily stifle my red bag lust with a red VIP liner instead...

Mulberryfloss please don't send it back! I have been searching at least two months for that bag and would be delighted to take it off your hands if you don't like it. I checked with Selfridges Birmingham and was told they sold the last Mulberry Medium Mitzy Hobo in rouge noir to "someone" (who could that be?) last week and no more were available in the country! There are certainly none available here. Sigh......

Hello again all, sorry for going a bit cold on this one!

Well, Mitzy arrived last week from Birmingham Selfridges, she's absolutely GORGEOUS, she did however come complete with an unexpected accessory - the SA who processed the order had left the security tag on!!!!!

I telephoned them straightaway and was told a variety ways to attempt to remove the tag myself (any prospective shoplifters feel free to PM me!) or I was told that if I took the bag to Next or Zara they would be able to remove it for me, as they have the same tagging system as Selfridges apparently. Anyway, I finally managed to get the tag removed at the weekend and Mitzy enjoyed her debut with a walk along the South Bank in the sunshine on Saturday afternoon with my soon-to-be-absent DH followed by a drink in the Oxo Tower. So all's well that end's well!

Oh and thanks for the offer annemontvue, but I don't think I'll be looking to rehome her just yet....

Hurray that you love Mitzy but to the SA who left the tag on. Aren't they rather obvious and hard to miss?

Please oh please can we see pics?

Thanks Hula, she really is a beauty..... Even my DH, who humours my bag habit but doesn't often express an opinion either way, says it's his favourite! Praise indeed! (Hmmm maybe he's after taking it with him to Kandahar to keep his bullets in or something.....)
