I've just checked my receipt, it was a girl called Claire, young, long dark hair, although the manager(I think) helped me too - he helped me pick between oak and black and it was also him that said it was highly highly unlikely that a RN mitzy messenger would make it up to Glasgow. Apparantly they run waiting lists out of the Bond Street and Brompton Road stores so they would go there - no fair!

No, it was fairly quiet, although I was in there at 10.30am!

I don't think I could justify keeping both if the RN arrives!

Ah yes, I know who you mean!

Hmmm I would wait & see what happens re the RN one. I hate it when two different people in the same company contradict each other

Of course you can justify keeping both ... how do you think we all ended up in the Mental Home for Mulberry Addicts .. otherwise known as TPF!!??!!

Thanks so much for all the help everyone, I've ordered it from Selfridges Birmingham - I was seriously contemplating jumping on the train and going up there today as I don't really like to buy unseen - the colour and the texture of the RN bags does seem to vary quite a bit - but I've had such a tiring week, I just couldn't face it. And if I'm not happy with it I can return it to Selfridges Oxford St so that's no problem.

Oooooh I'm soooooooooo excited!!!!!!
I'm coming to this one very late MF, but I'm delighted for you that you've tracked down your heart's desire ! I am slavishly devoted to my two medium Mitzy Hobos (RN & Black). I honestly find this style to be the most comfortable and user friendly of my entire bag collection (entirely made up of Mulberry & Chloe bags) and my other bags have been snoozing away in their dustbags in the wardrobe ever since the Mitzy twins arrived. I can also tell you that as with most Mulberry bags, the Mitzys get better & better with use ( the leather on my two is delightfully smooshy & slouchy now).

Congrats on tracking one down - I look forward to seeing the reveal & modelling pics soon. In the meantime, here's a little something to whet your appetite ...

We'll find out on Monday when I go to drop her off! She's got a bit of a cough now but not as tetchy as she was a couple days ago (thank god!).

Well done on finding your bag! And all thanks to the tip-off from Fuzzy. This is why

Can't wait to see pics!

I think a small Mulberry gift would be the perfect way to thank me for the tip off!

Thanks so much Tagullah! Yours looks gorgeous in the pics - the Selfridges SA said the one I'm getting is quite pebbly, so hopefully it will look as nice as yours when it arrives!
