That's such a shame about the Daria satchel SJ. I could feel your disappointment as I read your post. Hopfeully you will find another bag that you can reveal to us soon!

Thank you everyone for sharing my disappointment!

Well, the story continues......I've now ordered another one from somewhere else as I decided it was the satchel I was after and getting another style of bag could well be a mistake.

So mouse grey Daria satchel no 2 is on its way & I'll let you know how it turns out!

I think it will be '1st the worst, 2nd the best' (let's just hope you don't have to get to a 3rd one though!)

I should know tomorrow as I've just tracked the parcel and it's on its way from East Midlands. Son no 1 has an inset day and has been told he can't leave the house until Dhl has been!

Oh poop, what a disappointment after getting so excited, but hopefully the unwrapping and reveal of Daria number 2 will make up for it.

I hope this bag is perfect (and you don't have to wait in too long for the delivery!).

Just back from the office to find the parcel has arrived.

Sadly it's just not love. This one was an absolute steal as I managed to get a 20 per cent offer on it but even £110 off isn't enough for me to fall big time for it.
I'm going to check the burnt orange one again when I'm next in JL because the leather seemed gutsier than on the mouse grey.
It's fine as a long strap shoulder bag but the strap is a little short to wear it comfortably cross body. When I double the strap over to wear it as a shorter shoulder bag it bends in on itself & goes banana shaped which makes both ends of the flap stick out.
So it's going back and I'm back at square one yet again! I'm now thinking black Mabel hobo and black Anthony......

Oh bad luck SJ. I must admit I tried one on and found it went into a funny shape and kind of folded on itself. Back to the drawing board eh?

Oh dear, sorry it is not love SJ. Still, you made the right decision... need to get something that sets your heart skipping! I can vouch for mabel hobo it is a lovely bag.. but you had one before didnt you? Was it the style you didnt get on with, or the lipstick colour?

Are you sure about a black antony though?? You had one before and I think I remember it didnt excite you? Dont settle for anything less than heart skipping, pulse racing bag lust!!!
