Oh that SUCKS SJ. Nothing worse than having that lovely expectant feeling when a new bag is imminent and then having such a disappointment ( same thing happened with my RN Mitzy Messenger). If you do still find yourself hankering for the mouse Daria satchel, I'm pretty sure Selfridges had one when I was in there a week or so ago and I think they do mail order, so might be worth a call ? Anyway, hope you get your P&P refunded - they certainly should do that for you.

Tagullah - there's nothing like the buzz of a new bag arriving is there? My high was shortlived. It was nothing like the leather on the hobo or the leather on the Mabel hobo I had.

The bit that's driving me mad is I have big bad bag lust & I NEED TO BUY A NEW BAG!

Oh thats not fair SJ. I am sorry you had to go through that disappointment. I'm also disappointed that the SA thought it was appropriate to send the bag out. Hope you can satisfy your bag lust soon.

Especially when coming from the shop they should make sure it is in perfect condition so that this did not have to happen. But won't they refund your own shipping costs for sending it back?

I know you say you've given up on the daria satchel, but maybe if you waited for a bit...? (And so avoiding other impulse buys?

Oh no, how frustrating! The satchel is really lovely... Why don't you try and wait a few days, re-think, and then buy the bag you're lusting for. You've got lovely Daria hobo to cuddle with in the meantime

Oh, how annoying - and from a full price boutique too! Sorry to hear that, they should know better. I can understand that ypu feel a bit put off by that bag now, hope you will find something else you like soon!

oh SJ that is so disappointing! I must admit though that when I brought my daria messenger I made the SA get all 3 from the stock room in my local HoF so I could compare and choose as the difference in the leathers was shocking!
I hope you manage to find another one
