Im still feeling BLEURGH .. but having quite a quiet day today .. supermarket & packing for my trip tomorrow & that's about it.

Thank you for asking

a male colleague of mine has been off this week with what sounds like the same thing and his antibiotics haven't been too helpful i have spoken to him a couple of times this week but with not a lot of sympathy - thought he was being 'a man' - i might just have to be more sympathetic

Both my wee men (7 months ... & 2 on Monday) are sick now too Their daddy (ENT Surgeon) checked them over yesterday & they dont have the chest infection .. but they have the rest. We had a quiet day watching lots of Thomas & eating rice cakes yesterday ... the 2 yr olds to fave things at the moment!!

I probably shouldnt have gone back to work so soon, but I always feel guilty being off, even if I am sick!

Oh it sounds terrible....do you ever use Echinacea - i find it can help to aid recovery a wee bit...and i use vit c + zinc too as i tend to be prone to anything going.

Do hope you are feeling OK for your trip!

Sorry Poppy, I can't believe I missed this thread.

I really love your 2 purchases. I think the Mitzy looks great with the somerset strap, a fantastic length. The Oak looks really good against your black outfit, very chic.

I've never seen the Somerset and it looks a really versatile and handy size of bag.

Well done with your fab purchases.

So, my dear Poppy, what's next :-)?

LMM, sorry to hear you have been feeling poorly. There is just so much of it going round, especially when you are working with little kiddies.

I hope you feel much better soon. You know an new Mulberry often helps the healing process
