Thanks Slowhand and Chloe-babe. I am working from home on Thursday and needless to say there will be some spraying and buffing going on

BC they are both gorgeous, well done indeed! I am a big fraidy cat with mine, and seem to have pegged it as a summer bag, let me know how you go on in the wet weather if you decide to be brave!

Congrats!!!

Bag twins

I'd think I would baby it a bit first since its new but after a while I would be less careful. That's how I'm with my bays, even though she's a year old.

Got caugt in the rain the other day, and she is just fine!!!

Does this mean there will be future Bays purchases? I hope so!

Both Bays look great on you Bluecat, so why not add more!

I'd spray a couple times, buff well and then use it a lot to get that patina going. Don't baby it!

Hi KLP, depending on how oak bays goes I might consider a choc at some point. However, I do intend to use this one throughout the year. I coat of collonil down, 2 to go and my arms ache from buffing. Do you think it would help against my bingo wings? Had a bad day at work today and succumed to choc so need to burn off some cals!

I'm totally biased, but a choc Bays would be a fab addition!

Buffing leather bags is a very good form of exercise. But please don't feel guilty about treating yourself with a little chocolate. You deserve it.

ooooooooo what a lovely Bays! Or actually two gorgeous Bays!! Congrats!

This is not doing any good to my oak Bays craving.. I resisted a lovely one on Saturday (only because of lack of funding..) How long can one live without an oak bays??

Great to hear that you will just put on lots of collonil and try using her whatever weather. Use it a lot! I saw two amazing looking Annies today close up hehe, one in choc and one in oak - I don't think I've ever seen a well patinated choc Mulberry IRL, and it was literally mouth-watering. Of course, this incident got me craving even more for another Annie, another oak bag (bays?!), and wondering when my bags will look like that. Hm, better start not being such a wimp re: the weather.

Great to hear your Roxy is 'getting there'.

Hi Bluecat, may I add .........that is one hell of a fab Oak Bays you have there.

What a great choice, keep up the good work with the collonil/buffing, dont inhale!!

She looks fab on you - oak looks lovely with your aqua cardigan.

(pls dont beat yourself up over a bit of choccy - its not worth the stress.......stroke you new Mulbaberry instead!)

Ells xx

Thanks Sterre, Lillemy and Ellie. Yes, every girl should have an oak bays. My arms are now aching from the buffing. I'm probably a bit high from the collonil and even my palms are tingly (coz I do love to buff with my bare hands). I think she is ready for her maiden voyage to work tomorrow. I will not worry about the weather.
