Sorry, wasn't trying to be a drama queen or anything. DD2 was overtired and it was a bit fraught. She is out like a light now.

So without further todo:

I am exceedingly pleased with both bags. Navy leopard is an absolute pleasure because it is so light weight. Oak is just divine. Now I am trying to decide whether to do collonil, buff, collonil, buff, collonil, buff and then out come rain or shine or whether to be a wimp and wait for good weather. Any advice?

Oh bluecat I love them both. We are bag twins on two counts. I collonilled my oak bays three times before using her and the rain just rolls off her. Don't be afraid to use her. I totally agree with you about the leopard print. A pleasure to use and so light.

Yes, I now have the requisite 3 bays and am worthy of being called a real person.
She is very beautiful - even more so that I dared hope. Oak roxanne is turning the most fascinating toffee colour and I hope that bays will do the same. So, come on then - advice - to baby or not to baby?

ooooooh its absolutely gorgeous, you lucky gal.

This bag HAS to be used immediately and you know it will only get better and better as you use it. So if it needs to be treated before you take it out, do it NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great bag, congrats.

Looks like it has nice thick handles which is one of my 'must-haves' on Bays, can't stand the ones with those spindly thin ones, throws off the entire aesthetic for me.
