Default My Beautiful Oak bays-Marked!

I could cry! I was taking my bays upstairs last night (to tuck her into her dust bag and get my Roxy out) when I noticed a big black mark on the front. No idea what it is, I tried buffing it and even a little bit of water (its all sprayed up), but it won't budge . I just feel so sad, she was perfect before this Do u think it will fade with time???

Oh, no! So sorry to hear about your poor bays. can't say if the mark itself will fade, it depends on what it is I guess, but it will surely blend in more when the leather ages and gets a deeper colour and more marks/ signs of age. Maybe a leather cleaner will help a little, at least to make it less visible?
Good luck!

Oh no how upsetting. I know some girls have used Baby Wipes on their bags before although I have to say I'm a little reluctant to try things like that.

So sorry to hear this Cat and you take great care of your bags. I have used leather cleaning wipes on my bags, Punch leather wipes.

Mine has gotten marks on it cat over the years , but they just blend in eventually . I would say , just use it a lot now an don't be too fussy , that way the patina will develop quicker and the mark blends in.

Thats terrible Cat... hopefully it will blend in over time like the other said... Have you tried phoning a mulberry store or repairs to see if they can give any advice?

Thank you for ur words of comfort ladies! I think the first mark/scratch/imperfection is always the worst, don't you think?

My bays is currently tucked away as I have my roxy out, but I know i'll just have to get her out and get used to the mark-I fear its here to stay! And plus I'll probably be less likely to baby her now. Every cloud.....

Thanks again, I do feel better now!
