She is probably an expert on Mulberry authenticity because of a lot experience, but her bags originate from ebay (as well as outlets maybe), so ultimately what you buy from her is what you missed to bid on a couple of weeks ago and lost to her!
I do not think there is anything wrong about snapping and reselling from profit - but if she had nothing to hide, why buying under secret names and selling under another? Would you pay £150-200 extra for the privilege of buying from a "reputable seller"? Sometimes yes, if you do not know the model.
Personally I think, that such business stop genuine sellers of their own items from achieving the best price for their treasures, and genuine buyers
from getting any bargains at all, overpaying for their dream bags and giving up their hard earned cash to the knowledgeable person who pressed the bid button at the right time. It is a middleman. If she were to buy a fake, she probably would never pass it on to her buyer, but deal with the fake herself... so it is reassuring to buy from her, especially that you get the protection of distance selling regulations, because she is a business seller and is obliged to take refunds for any reason during the first 7 days.
This seller is not the only one to do this, some others sourse their Mulberries exactly the same way.

If, MM does do what you suggest above (and how do you even know this by the way???), I dont think there is anything wrong with that - it is a business, and people have to make money in business somehow. For example, an antiques dealer may buy a few bits from one person, and sell them onto the next at a profit - I think this is pretty well accepted because its how they make their business profitable. What is the difference between that, and business sellers selling mulberry on ebay?

Additionally, the price a buyer pays is not just for the bag, but for any cleaning/treatment that bag has had prior to sale, plus for the reassurance that it is genuine, for good customer service, knowledge that they can send it back if desired....

Well put Hula. I wanted to say the same thing but I'm hopeless at putting it in the right words. Well done!

MM bought a bag of mine under a different, private ID and re-sold it quickly at a much higher price. (I know this because she got her IDs mixed up when leaving feedback!) I DID feel a bit miffed! But, business is business and, quite simply, highest bidder wins... that's ebay for you.

Well business sellers on ebay are not there for the fun of it - they have to make money somehow! Would people have such a problem if they were selling through a 'normal' online shop rather than an ebay shop??

Absolutely. Buying/selling on ebay is a choice we make.

She outbid me recently on a ginger Laurie, which is a HG bag of mine

But then again, business is business and all that.

Indiana, we posted at the same time, I was just adding an extra thought, not responding to your post (I just read it back how it looked after your post and realised it could have looked a bit snooty! )

Of course , there is no problem - business is business, not a charity.
However, unlike dealers, who buy in one place and sell in the other,
ebay resellers are buying from the same "pool" as we do. I can compare it , for example, to you going to Tesco to buy a can of £1 Heinz soup. Before your hand reaches the shelf, some "reputable" person grabs all the cans from the shelf and offers you a can for £24.50. As there are no cans left on the shelf and you are hungry... you buy your can for £24.50.
Next week you want to buy something else... be sure, those regular customers have already been to Tesco, bought all cheap food and are happy to resell it all to you for a 3fold price...
In real world it happens with tickets - as soon as they are out - bang, all bought.
If the mark up is for the service, why hide where and for how much it was bought? Why buy under a private feedback username?
